It wasn't too terribly bad, first I went to radio shack after toys r us sold out, and I was about tenth in line, and somebody called and they got 7 in stock, so I went to office max was about twentieth in line, and finally when it opened most of the people ran around looking for it when it was actually right at one of the front desks and they were handing them out so I got lucky. :)

and i'm almost positive that music works. i don't see why it wouldn't. the software doesn't convert before you put songs on (unless you're using a music file that isn't supported), and the songs you put on don't have licenses (unless you download music with the "all you can eat" download service for $15 a month). so yes, limewire and other places' music and videos should work.

i think it MIGHT do mp4... but i'm not sure. i use total video converter. it's slow, but it can convert files it's NOT EVEN SUPPOSED TO! it's cool. it can convert .flv videos (youtube videos), and it's not even on the list of supported formats. i usually use .wmv, so i don't know.

well it does have an equalizer, but there isn't a custom one. you can select from none, acoustic, classical, electronic, hip hop, jazz, pop, and rock. you cannot turn the bass up and that kind of stuff (yet). they might come out with a new update someday to change that, though.

yes, it's complicated at first, but you'll get used to it. it does look a lot better on the zune itself, and on the new software, you ca download podcasts. i personally like the podcasts on how to make your own stff. the DIY stuff.

i think so. i don't use limewire. i have some south park episodes from my brother (as you can see in the video), and they work. you just have to convert them with either the zune software or a downloaded video converter.

wait you make no sense. you were talking about how you hate apple, and now you're telling me zune sucks? i don't know if it could be the "best" mp3 player, but i know it's better and a lot more reliable than an ipod.

i don't think so... it seems pretty normal. i had that as my first firmware. it seemed fine. it's worth it anyway. it looks REALLY nice. and it scrolls through songs and stuff faster.
