Went to the manufacturers site but they don't have drivers for this chip on their site. I don't think Microsoft will be able to improve it too much only a little. I have no idea why they used this piece of shit chip in it. Except that they must have got it cheap. But they should have known better because they used previous revisions of this same chip in other devices which sucked as well. They knew, they obviously didn't care. My advice would be to take it back or get a nano WiFi USB adapter for it.
