Excellent reliable car. Perhaps if I had that kind of car, I give the insides a modern makeover, including a digital car stereo, navigational system, upgraded reliable suspension. I can put racing engine modifications, including two racing turbochargers. This car is great for Xbox One Forza 5 game.

+iCrack101 Sounds like you do not know Xbox One's Forza 5. Later on Forza 6 comes around in the middle of September. Hope the 1966 Volvo P1800 comes to Forza 6, if not Forza 7.

Just about any car can get super high mileage when driven like this one, small car, one person in it, not carrying any big load or pulling any big load, most of the time the engine is just coasting, the only time it works a little is going up a hill or in a headwind, with good care and driving like this, any brand can get way up there, I just wonder how he kept ahead of rust problems, some of that travel had to be in the winter and of course hitting rainstorms, and if any big dark thunderstorms ahead he must have stopped and waited it out so he didn't get hail pock marks on it.

vinyl i would say none old volvo engine and transmission last forever if you serveice them. Engine oil and filter once a year and gearbox oild every 5 years and valve adjustment every 10 years in a p1800 and it will run for ever. The only enemys to old volvos is rust

Yes, well, you can have a car 40 years and barely drive it- many senior citizens' weekend cruiser cars are that old but only have 80,000 miles on it.

Hahaha...I suspect you know I meant 'out more' as in getting out of the house more,lol. As for 'who would you have in a car with you' it would have to be someone who could drive as I don't.And as I know diddlysquat about cars the 'make' would have to be something with a good track record,idk,a Mercedes perhaps?! :-)

HE HASN'T REPLACED ANY ENGINES AT ALL. HE HAS ONLY REPLACED AN EGR VALVE..A COUPLE OF O2 SENSORS AND A MAIN SERPENTINE BELT.JUST THESE THINGS AND OIL CHANGES AT 5,000 IS ALL
