Jeep should bring back the Scrambler name for the Wrangler pickup. Glad to see another new relatively small pickup. Hopefully it will be available in RHD, diesel, and manual transmission. Manifesto? Sounds like a car designed by commies :p

Ich glaube nicht wirklich, dass einer dieser auf Renntrimm gemachten Wagen einen Kat hat oder Ansatzweise noch irgendwo original ist ;) Ich bin Ihm hinterher gefahren und habe ihn überholt. NEVER hält mir ein (wenn auch leichter) 190er mit 170PS mit meinem RS so mit. Ich weiß was mein Wagen leistet und wie Fahrzeuge aussehen die ähnlich schnell sind wie ich mit meinem RS. Dieser 190er hat min. 200PS! Wer das Gegenteil behauptet, den stelle ich jetzt mal als Scherzkeks hin, der sehr tief stapelt!

Wieviel PS hat er denn nun?? 185PS war Seire und ich gehe mal davon aus, dass er die nicht mehr hat.Nun sind die Beiden aber auch sehr leicht. Unter 1200kg is ne Ansage für moderne Karren. Wie wir Heute feststellen mussten war einer meiner Druckschläuche an dem Tag undicht....ich habe deinen 190er und den E36BMW aber überholt...leider sind alle Videos von den Leuten, immer dann gedreht, wenn ich scheinbar langsamer unterwegs war oder gerade nicht :( na ich hoffe man trifft sich bald mal wieder.

Käfig + Sitze sind ja auch das Minimum. Man will ja wieder nach Hause kommen, auch wenn man sich mal verschätzt, oder? Thema Schaukeln - naja, für konstante 1,50iger Zeiten reicht es hier im Video. Scheit also dem Fahrer viel Vertrauen zu geben und darauf kommt es ja an. Thema Fahrleistungen: Ein Serien RS Cup-P. ist mal eben 300kg schwerer als dieser 190E. Deshalb geht er auf der Geraden besser, aber nicht Lichtjahre besser. Dazu kommen die Slicks und schon fährt der Benz auf der Bremse weg.

@Kai: Wo ist denn hier dein Problem? Der Motor ist der Originalmotor, also 26 Jahre alt und imho irgendwas zwischen 250tkm und 300tkm gelaufen. Ich kann doch auch nichts dafür, wenn du mit fast der doppelter Leistung nur wenig schneller bist... Wie aus meinen anderen Videos ersichtlich, handelt es sich um ein RÜF Fahrzeug mit 177PS. Die 185PS waren Katlos mit einer anderen Verdichtung...ein völlig anderer Motor, deutlich lebhafter als meiner, da der Mitteldruck dort sehr hoch ist

ich sage ja nicht, dass nichts geht, aber ich höre sooo viel und sehe dann ganz andere Sachen. Die 300kg sehe ich genauso und doch erscheinen mir 170PS tief gestapelt...ich fahre auch ganz gut und hatte auch Slicks;) Ich finde es aber gut, wenn man sich mal über sowas unterhält...bin mal gespannt, ob ich den 190er nochmal irgendwo antreffe und man da mal live drüber quasslen kann....;)) Und das mit dem schaukeln war einfach mein Eindruck...Alles oki

Hallo erstmal, also ich muss jetzt mal was zum bmw sagen, der motor ist 100% orginal bis auf ansaugbrücke und abgasanlage!! und da der 190er auf den graden zu kämpfen hat würde ich mal sagen die leistung past die er angibt! ein orginal motor hat halt den vorteil das man damit auch ein 24h rennen fahren könnte ohne irgentwelche schlauch probleme zu bekommen;-) nichtsdestotrotz ein sehr schönes video!!!

naja, eh Wurst...ich glaub da keinem mehr was. Es wird nur noch tief gestapelt. Egal ob BMW oder an dem 190er oder sonst irgendwelchen Karren die man so sieht. Das teil hat nen Vollkäfig, aber sonst nix angefasst *lol* is klar...Das einizge was ich zu dem Mercedes noch sagen würde ist...stimm mal dein Fahrwerk ab, denn der Wagen schaukelt wie ein Brotkorb ;) Will kein Stress...Gruß

Kai, ich kenne den Wagen sehr gut und der ist vom Motor her völlig Serie [PUNKT]. Er geht auch genau so, wie man es erwarten müsste - der Wagen hat zu Zeiten von Straßenzulassung noch mehrere Vergleichsfahrten hinter sich gebracht. Der 328i hat eine M50-Brücke, also irgendwas zwischen 200-210 PS und zieht dem Mercedes auf den Geraden weg...

Range Rover would clearly be slower just by looking at all three next to each other. It's so much bigger compared to the Germans. Of course the Range Rover is still a proper 4x4 SUV, where as those coupe crossovers are not. Also, there are plenty of tuners like ETG that will give you well over 600bhp and 550 torques in the Range Rover if your in need of it.

add some corners and the SVR and X6M would leave the AMG for dead. fast in a straight line, sounds and looks good from the front, but the SVR and X6M just whips it a bit on the handling. Ride comfort probably came before handling on the development roster. I'd take all three though ( if I had the money). they are all epic in their own way.

+Motor Magazine Yeah thats what makes it interesting because even though both manufacturers quote the exact same performance stats for their SUV coupe versions they do differ in weight and obviously a bit of aerodynamics. Nice video btw I've been looking for a while, its the first one I've seen of these two cars!

+9999plato Exactly. Here no one, even police cares about speed limits. Clearly that law is stupid. If everyone thinks it's stupid, then it must be. As for filtering - I cannot see downsides of it. I don't think that even 1% of accidents involving motorcycles is because of filtering so it's not dangerous for the bikers if they do it with reasonable speed and caution.

1,973hp 0-60 in 2.8 seconds...yet the 2012 GTR with 545 hp and a boat load of more weight does it in 2.7 seconds... am i missing something here?

+chrismay1a but is that really useful? top end speed is pointless for both cars because you wont ever reach it on normal use or even on track days.. unless you have a massive straightaway .. acceleration matters more than top speed in my opinion..therefore 0-60 or 0-100 times are important

it takes that long because your wheels will be spinning way to much in 1st and 2nd gear.. that's a lot of hp.. also higher hp helps a lot for top end speed which is why it will go a lot faster than the gtr

I think the main thing that it boils down to will be the drivetrain .. 4wd vs rwd .. if the nemesis is rwd .. it will have a shit of a time putting all that power down .. however if it has 4wd..it can easily beat the gtr or even rival the veyron in 0-60 time without any aids on.

+Emmanuel Wang fair point .. although there have been plenty of reviewers that did the 0-60 run on a gtr without launch control and still got 2.8 or 2.9 seconds .. which with that, the nearly 2000 hp time of 2.8 seconds is not impressive.

GTR is fast because of its TRACTION SYSTEM. If GTR just lose some weights without changing its TRACTION SYSTEM, it will be slower.

Actually, the highest specific output of any car currently is that of the Koenigsegg One:1. With 1340 hp from a 5.0L V8, specific output is at 268hp/litre (almost 100 more than the CLA's). Thank you Sweden

Derek D. you couldnt be any more wrong. By Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, he meant the FQ440. its still a production car and its still very much powerful. If you wanna compare mainstream cars, you have to compare your less powerful CLA250 to Lancer Evo with 291 hp. if you wanna bring in the CLA45AMG edition, then compare it to THE LEGEND OF WRC FQ440! and this is how you get lawyered. so get your facts straight. and stop posing as if you "corrected" the commenter.

the difference is, every mercedes  dealership will will have plenty of the cla250amg in stock, while that FQ440 is only at a handful of dealerships... I worked for a Mitsubishi dealership for 2 years and we never had one come into our dealership, and it was a big dealership with a full body shop mechanics shop 2 paint booths and 8 bays for cleaning cars.
