Is it okay if I be critical here? ^_^; The effects were pretty good, and
the music was excellent with the scenes. The only bits I had a problem with
were the scene with the girl shooting herself (it kinda looked a little too
fake ^_^; I'm no expert, but I'm just saying) and just a bit of the acting,
like the part where the other girl wakes up? It was kinda obvious that she
wasn't asleep at all ^_^ Besides pointing out negative stuff, the zombie
whatever people were creepy awesome :3 So yeah xD
Nice job! I love the camerawork and the music, it really sets the somber
scene. Now for the critique: The concept is good, but it's played out way
too quickly. There isn't enough time to grasp the emotions that headlines
each scene. And though I really didn't like Denial, I loved Anger. Overall,
the acting was good, could have been a little more realistic, but it held
up fine. I say you just need to pace things a little better. Otherwise,
you've got a pretty decent foray into drama.
dnt read this(cuz it really wrks). u will gt kissd on the nearest frieday
by the love of ur life. 2mara wll b the bst day of ur life hwever if you

(3)The next thing that stuck out and distracted me from the story was the
music. At 3:49, the music playing in the previous scene continues to play
through a title and into the next scene. I think there should have been
some sort of musical variation at that point. Lastly, the titles were kind
of pointless. I understand it's difficult to transition between scenes in a
7:30 movie, but it came off as unnecessary.
Overall, it was very good. There were some spots where the acting could
have been better, and the story itself takes too long to evolve and looses
my interest. The star of the production is the guy who made it. It looks
great, the music works well and the effects also work great. With a cast of
more seasoned actors and maybe a quicker pace or action towards the
beginning, it would have been 5 stars to me.
(2)The first thing that kind of bothered me was at the beginning, when Josh
said "Unlike the other two." I had no idea what he was talking about, and
if anything it confused me. This type of thing is common in movies that
aren't screened before released. (The director would have never noticed
something like this.) Maybe a simple cut to the other two inhabitants in
sleeping bags would have worked?
Dude, I'm glad to know me and the others who lost aren't the only ones of
that mindset. To know that one of the top 16 thinks most of those videos
were crap too is a comfort. Yours really was maybe one of six that deserved
any recognition. I really enjoyed yours, definitely one of my favorite of
the night.
Wow! that was amazing! I agree with andiana, cutos to whoever did the
camerawork. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The special
effects were phenomonal! I really belived the guns were being fired every
time you guys shot them. Great job Chris! hope you enter this to the CTVF
in 2009!
probably humor...if you didnt already tell from the youtube's end vids, im
still kind of in the learning stages, haha! idk, humor seems to be the way
to go for someone in that position. well hey, if you guys are actually
interested, andrew has my my number. peace!!
I agree with Billie4Mozzarella & Marphos, though I did like the little
titles in between, gave it kinda of an artsy feeling to it overall. Was a
good job guys :) Though the dude with the machine gun looked alot like my
first bf O.O
(4)Overall, the directing and camera angles were excellent. The cardboard
on the window behind josh, the lighting and the music really set the mood.
In terms of production quality, this was excellent, keep it up! -Josh
hey, i read all these comments, this video is awesome, i wanna make pro
videos like that, but i have nobody to film with! lol, im pretty good at
acting though, by the way, what editing software did you use on this?
Oh dude, I'm begging people to be critical. XD That's actually some of the
best feedback we've gotten. Thanks! Oh, and in the suicide scene, was it
the blood that seemed fake? I was a little iffy on that as well.
holy hell dude, that was epic!! btw, you need any actors with a british
accent? i was the last vendettaman in andiana's potc vids...i must say that
i really enjoyed the experience but now its over :(
We used Final Cut Pro, along with The Grading Sweet plugins for color
correction. Whereabouts are you? I go to CSU Northridge, I've been aching
to shoot with people. ~ Chris @ Ergo Pictures
wow, everything's so professional =] good job on acting too! what kind of
camera did you use / what file type did you upload this video in? cuz the
quality is like perfect! =]
It was pretty good I did notice one small detail missed they had been
firing guns at a door but the door was undamaged from the bullets but other
then that I liked it.
(1)Great Drama Ergo! I didn't know you guys had teh skillzorz to pull this
off. Amazing Job. However, just because you're asking for some feedback,
I'll try to help.
Was you inspired by "Night of the Undead"? 'Cause this is way cooler than
the movie, not much blood but very real. Keep up the work man! 5 star for
you. Cheers
Haha, if you thought this one had bad pacing, you should have seen the one
we submitted to CMF, which had to be under 5 minutes. XD Thanks for the
input!! ^_^
Reggie Watts Improvisation II
I just downloaded this off of Vimeo. It may be uploaded on Youtube, but if it's not, then here it is. I have no idea what the title of the piece is, as it's improv and ...
you will notice in 2:04 that he turns off the main beat/bass loop in the
2880 keeping the cymbal/shaker one to then turn it on again, and later when
he does the chorus loop at 3:18 he uses the dl4 which allows him to do
those play/pause grooves later on: meaning- the 2880 has a track ability,
you can record loops in separate tracks and control them seperately while
in the dl4 u dub the looop (record all in the same track) controlling them
together, if ur pilling them of course, regards
From what I've seen, the other piece of equipment is known as the EHX
(electro-harmonix) Stereo Multi-Track Looper. It's what allows him to have
separate loops instead one great big loop that he can only add to and turn
off completely. I'm pretty sure that the Line 6 DL4 is mainly just an
effects pad. MAINLY. I'm sure he uses it for certain loops. I think it's
for when he wants to do the whole DJ thing and start a beat from the
beginning over and over again. I want to be like him *u*
Smokejc is right about the equipment. What i THINK happens is he creates
the loops initially with the DL4, then sort of saves the main loop in the
other loop pedal, then he uses the DL4 for delay and effects on his voice,
but later in the song uses it for the harmonizing vocal loop right at the
end. I just got a DL4 and was gonna do a brief video explaining it. Its
relatively simple to use, and it really showed me the genius is Reggie's
quickness, not the technology.
I know this is a shameless plug, but, like a year ago someone posted this
video on my fb wall. I said to myself I want to do this. So I went out and
bought the shit to do it, learned it, started training my mouth and brain
to try it, and now. I can do it. Reggie Watts is my hero and I pale in
comparison. But I just want to say, thanks to Reggie, and to MrTomSea for
uploading this. And check out my shit if you feel like it. Berate me,
internet. It'll make me better.
help me out with the lyrics: huh yeah, Sometimes it gets so hard living on
nothing tryin' to make ends meet, yo tryin' to make some sense of it
allllllllll when you hear rumours, you're chemically reactive never tryin'
to find the solution why the people be telling you shit in the first place
baby what, but how can i do this? something I find, gotta be when i want
you when I wanna get up and
go....................................................
You can't actually post links in youtube comments, but the major thing is
the Line 6 DL4. It's the pedal you see him using constantly on the left.
The OTHER pedal he has i think is just another loop pedal. but he
essentially forms the major loop on the Dl4, then sorta 'saves' it on the
second pedal. I do not know what that one is. You can find the DL4 in a lot
of places. I bought mine off amazon. Its a more common loop pedal.
you know i'm tryng to be the best one i could never see their faces even
now and then there was even suspicion i was in their places i was on fire
then something 'bout the way that you be talking about everybody talkin'
how when you wanted someone you could never be down everyone wanted you but
you never woulda woulda woulda be down but ya get on, get ya get ya get on
get on
Im afraid Reggie would be slightly out of his league,Bobby is pitch perfect
even when skipping octaves...then again hes had way more experience than
Reggie, hes also goes both higher and lower in pitch with stronger support
in his voice(less breathy),then again reverb masks alot of
imperfections,Reggie could use the Boss RV-5 or similar.
his other unit is the Electro Harmonix 2880 4 channel loop station. In
fact, he is featured on their website messing with it in a video. The Line
6 DL4 is what he uses for most everything though. What you need to do what
he does is have his level of talent.
This guy is more entertaining than all the techno and pop in the world.
That isn't saying much, but he is amazing. I'd like to hear him really sing
a full song. He has an incredible voice.
I can tell by the shape the green piece on the right is a Line6 looper,
don't know the model. Very affordable (have a Line6 JM4 myself, use it for
guitar). Not sure about the other one.
First heard Reggie on the Comedy Bang Bang podcast where he's a frequent
guest, and he absolutely blew my mind. It's like he has the creativity of
ten people crammed into one brain.
Great song one of the best I've heard from Freddie Watts. Where is this on
Vimeo? i cant find it anywhere... what show, where and when, was this taken
from? thanks for the upload!
New Google+ comment.
Ayy whutup homeslice!? I always prefer Reggie's improvs not that the stuff
he records isn't great, but his live stuff is dripping with awesomeness.
Albums? If this guy has albums he can take my money!! This is a true
artist. Pure talent. Ill download everyone elses Shit. Not Reggie Watts
though Ill gladly pay him.
the equipment is call electro harmonix 2880 multitrack looper, ive seen him
use it...you may want to check ebay or amazon for it cheapest. its cheapest
around $400
3:15 is a perfect example of why he is a genius. He creates his own
ensemble, then they (he) becomes his own frontman.

Hey Jorge I just want to say that your videos over the past years had
really helped me improve my guitar playing substantially, now I can simply
learn strokes songs by ear and other songs too and my technique has
improved from watching your videos . I've recently got myself a custom shop
Gibson guitar which I love to bits now and I probably wouldn't have got it
if it wasn't for your videos !
