The midsize segment is the best-selling car segment in the U.S. – and this class is more competitive than ever,” says Cars.com Editor-in-Chief Patrick Olsen.
We rented the Ford in this comparison video while on vacation. The rear
seat belt has no adjustments. It gave my daughter headaches. Had to use a
towel at all times on her seat belt to avoid headaches. Many Nissans also
have similar poorly designed rear seats.
+wcjeep Well thanks for letting me know mate , I will tell him to change his car and not to buy Subaru . And about the CVT transmissions, I have not driven a Subaru yet so I don't know about that . The sonata's CVT had a kind of issues . He went to the mechanic a several times for the Hyundai .
+Alanex Knight be sure the prospective Subaru buyer has an extended road drive survey. CVT transmissions are not fun to drive. I have not driven the Subaru CVT. Others have been less than fun. Also recommend the Subaru buyer ask about normal oil consumption. Recently Subaru had problems with excessive oil consumption that corporate deemed normal. Unknown if they fixed the problem. Other weird Subaru issue was with Eagle Eye and door locks. Eagle Eyesight can not be turned off? Some Subaru vehicles do not have automatic door locks. The door lock issue is a deal breaker for my wife.
+wcjeep oh that's so bad to hear that u spent alot for a rental car :-(. As a youngster,I am currently renting a impala and that car is also having kind of issues. Had a camry 2013 before, drove it for 2 years without any complaints except oil change etc (as always :p) .I sold my camry and was so sad. Before the camry, I had kia optima 2012 which was bought in 2011, after 4 months driving that car, I observed and had a lot of issues and complaints. I sold that car and didn't even get half of my money due to that car isn't having much resale value. While my friend brought an accord before 3 years, he sold last week. He told me that it was his best car in his life. While my another friend had sonata which was not that good but was kind of OK to him. Now we 3 are going to buy new cars, I decided to buy Honda accord 2016. My friend who owned accord is going to buy 2016 camry and the other friend who owned sonata is going to buy subaru legacy. We hope our cars doesn't get much complaints.
+Alanex Knight Some vehicle rear seatbelts rub her neck area just right to induce bad headaches. Took awhile to figure out. We ended using a Raggedy Ann doll from the Smithsonian to pad the seatbelt. No problems after padding the rear seatbelt. My daughter does not require a booster. She is the average height for her age. Now we know to take her car shopping for rear seatbelt interference issues. We have not had any problems with the Honda's, Mazda's and Toyota's.
Yeah some of the Nissan productions may be good and the ford (hope ur daughter is okay) is just a great car with those features of like kia and hyundai. Whenever u rent, take Japanese cars only, like the mazda 6 or Toyota camry or Honda accord
Something I just realized, Toyota Nissan and Honda are the only companies
that are making cars for the cheapest value, on those cars, any DIY or
garage mechanic can still do work on it beyond simple fluid and oil
changes, but on the rest, you would have to take the car to the dealership
or a technician because the cars are over complicated and really, does a
sedan really need a turbo Hyundai?
Go and drive a new Sonata turbo. I own a 2015 Sonata with the 2.0 turbo, it gets the gas mileage of a big 4 cylinder and the power of a 6 cylinder. Not to mention the cabin in this car is very very quiet. I was never a Hyundai person as I've been in a few that drove like crap but the they keep getting better. I can only say that for a small few manufacturers out there. Also this car gets too 60mph in 6.6 seconds so it's kinda sporty also.
$27,000 midsize sedans and Honda and Toyota is in the last places... lmao.
I bet if you raise the price to 32k, those two cars will be top tier
because of their V6 top of the line editions.

Best new cars coming up in 2015
Don't go putting down that deposit on a showroom-fresh car yet, as a host of potential new class leaders will start to roll on to our roads as soon as the Christmas ...
New cars have become far too expensive these days. I will never buy one,
its not worth it. In 2004 you could get a brand new Civic Type R for
£16000. Now they are £30000. It would be all well and good if peoples rates
of pay had risen by the same proportion over the last 11 years but wages
are practically the same. Did I miss a meeting?
The best buy is the BMW it will be great to drive ,you can put your friends
in it and even a dog and luggage in the back. .AND If you want resale
value buy the Bmw soft top ,It won't lose a cent of resale as it leaves
the showroom and when you sell it just put it on any second hand lot ,Even
your driveway and you will get what is worth minus the mileage
