WHAT TO EXPECT: Finding Work In Australia on a Working Holiday Visa
I was able to interview some fellow backpackers on their own experience finding working since they have been in Australia. If you have any more Questions or ...
i live in Australia and if you have your working holiday you deny an entry
level position to an Australian youth we have enough youth unemployment
without foreigners making it harder our young people need experience which
you rob them of if you take a job over here you are denying our kids a
start in the workforce their are more people than vacancies over here save
up and holiday here don't take jobs from local if you want to work here
become a doctor we have a shortage
+Nicholas McNamara That's so silly. If a company would rather hire a foreigner for a max of 6 months than hire any of the Aussie applicants, that just means the locals need to step it up. Just the way the world works really.
its easier to go to a backpackers and hire a person to work in a cafe or restaurant the owners don't even advertise positions publicly so locals cant apply for those jobs
Mate, there are thousands of Australians doing the same thing in other countries. If the holiday visa system stopped, it would stop both ways. You'd still have the same number of people and the same number of jobs.I can't think of a western country that hasn't got a problem with youth employment at the moment.
I see your point but at the same time we put money time and work into the contry putting money in for a visa and if we want to extend that visa we need to do 88 days rural work so we are helping pick fruit breed animals shear sheeps and you have the right to save up money and travel the world for work if you work hard and look hard and work "smart" you will find jobs even if its a part time job helping somewhere.Sorry for long reply :)

employer online before applying or i can come to find somewhere to work
while i am there?
I would recommend ensuring your certification is recognized before you take the leap of faith and move there to work as a PT. FIA is the main institute you have to be recognized by to work as a PT. I am not sure the visa options Greeks have. Check the visa wizard option on the australian website to help you pick the right visa! Good luck!!!

My boyfriend and I are going to Australia in April with a working holiday
visa, however once were over there we want to get our citizenship. We have
a daughter tat were leaving with family until we are settled, what do you
think is the best process? Also how much money did you take when you first
arrived there?
Going on a working holiday is definitely ideal for a lot of reasons. It is inexpensive compared to the other options and also provides you with a chance to try the country out.. so to speak. I am actually just working on a video I will upload tomorrow and will answer a lot of the common questions I have been getting; concerning money and what not. x
