First off i want to address all of these key board warriors in this comment section talking shit about a situation they know completely nothing about. Jt is my good friend and a couple days before that show he did a full motor swap wire tuck and brake line tuck as well. A real car enthusiast you would know that work like that put all in a couple of days work can sometimes lead to misfortune events happening leaks and other things happening that are unavoidable. Which makes total since he would rather trailer it rather then braking down on the side of a busy Texas highway in the middle of no where. 400 something miles away from home. Second the trailer was borrowed from a friend that was kind enough to let him use it. Point is not everybody has money to buy a badass low profile trailer. All i know is this dude worked his ass off on that car to get it to that show .and it doesnt matter if it is a civic or whatever. He put HIS money dreams and hard work into something he loves. And all you can do is talk down on what he is doing. At least he is doing what he loves working with what he's been given!!!

@immakrnbo1 With a proper trailer setup this could be avoided, or even proper ramps. Without the front bumper he could drive up those ramps. But he risks more trailering the car than he does just driving it. If he really loved the car he would either drive it, or tow it properly. Both of which are cheaper than paint and body work from one fuck-up when it happens.

@immakrnbo1 If the bumper was removed there would be no need for ghetto planks. There is more potential to hurt the car by driving it on stacked planks of wood. Especially when you don't know how to ease up onto a trailer that isn't made for hauling cars.

@zGoKart Are you sure you watched the video? It was the wooden planks that kept falling..not because of the front bumper. The lip is probably easier to take off than the bumper, and the floor jack was to make sure his oil pan or whatever didn't scrape.

You actually have to drive the car to know the "perils of driving a stanced car." What a dumbass, it's like 4 or 5 10mm bolts to take off a damn bumper. Plus those ugly quick connects are all the rage in the JDM world nowdays.

you people asume taking the bumper off is so easy. you would have to put the car on jacks to raise it up to get to the bumper mounts and you have to have rite tools for the job. it would be just as time consuming

next time, put the actuall trailer on ramps. it will even out the trailer with the metal ramps. that way you wont have to use them sketchy ass planks that equal disaster for that civic.

+mrb3n Yeah, the JT Chains are new and it has not stretched yet. I have not even adjusted it since the initial installation and I know if or when it stretches or does funky stuff. There are specks of rust but other than this I lube it weekly with Dupont Chain Saver. JT should make a lube for their chain because I do not like to clean my chain or tire rims. Yeah, JT has a 11,000lb tensile strength Super HD chain and that is the best selling point of all, price without any sacrifice on performance or looks.
