I had full hysterectomy because of pcos and ENDOMETRIOSIS am on premarin
pill hrt 1.25 mg. I have been on it for 2or 3 years now. But the problem is
mood swings/weight / some hot flashes. Does this product help you and how
much does it cost and how long have you been on it . How are you doing with
everything.
I have only been on them for about 2 months now...and yes I feel you there menopause is horrible. But they do seem to be helping with the side effects of menopause. I am unsure of the cost sorry as I am in Scotland and I get them off NHS. Xx
Hi I'm almost one year post hysterectomy (total, it's all gone). I've been
using estrogen tablets Progynova 1mg, and so far I feel pretty good. Much
better than I thought I would actually. I'm finding it a challenge to
remember to take the tablets at the same time every day though. I'm
wondering if these patches might be a good alternative to my current pills
you think? It looks so convenient I wouldn't mind it at all.
Go talk to your doctor and explain that you keep forgetting and would like the patches only thing is you will have to remember to change them twice a week. I don't see why they wouldn't work for you...good luck glad your doing ok :) xx
Less facial hair is a blessing indeed ,mine never stopped growing despite
the HRT
The flowers are beautiful Brie ,,as I am still fighting winter snow it nice
to see some purple and red :)
Hi Colette. I don't think I have mood swings. I take a dose every 12
hours, the same amount. I wash my forearm in warm water to open the pores
and towel dry. Then I apply gel to that area on one arm. I rub it in for a
minute. I use the opposite forefinger which "gets wet and sticky", so I rub
extra on my nipples too.. Gets those girls growin' faster...Wheeeeeeeeeeee.
after about 30 minutes it has been absorbed.
It is bioidentical and can be placed anywhere. very low or no risk for a
clot with my Rx. I take a good Omega-3 and Vit.-E supplements that reduces
risk for getting a clot. Conventional doctors say that is bullshit, like my
1st Endo.
My current doctor has his own natural medicine pharmacy and supplement
store.
I have a hypothyroid condition and started using patches. I found that
levothyroxine binds with estradiol making both less effective; I was
feeling more tired than ever before and it got worse when a 2nd patch was
prescribed.
My new doctor(my old doctor ignored my concerns) prescribed a larger dose
of levothyroxine and I have gone to a 2mg estradiol pill under the
toungue(Sublingual) 12 hours apart from the levothyroxin. I am feeling much
better now with the results I was hoping to see.
If you have a low thyroid condition and you find you are getting more tired
after taking estrogen, please bring this up with your doctor.
The natural supplement are plant estrogens which chemically resemble
progesterone. In the male physiology excess progesterone is converted into
testoterone, so you can easily shoot yourself in the foot by taking to
much! I don't even bother with those any more. Hugs!
This video will take a look at the Estrogen Patch / Vivelle Dot up close. It also talks about how to apply the patch Estrogen Patch and where to put it.
