I don't think the MBP will go MBA thin... there wouldn't be enough definition between products and therefore the unique selling point of both MBA and MBP would dissolve, reflecting in the sales of MBA. The MBP will get slightly thinner, yes, but will not mimic the MBA's shape. New build material likely, I'd say in the first quarter of next year. 13" entry level will go quad core, SSD very likely I'd say. But the main point is, Apple will not blend the USP of both the MBA and MBP together.

hey, great update once again. i love following you on youtube ^^. i'd love a new design for the macbook pros, even though my next project is buying an imac. i've still got the macbook pro aluminium and i liked that design best. though my poor thing is getting old, it won't even let me upgrade to lion. i've had it for ages haha. also got a macbook air 2011, which is great as a second machine (i use it mainly for uni or when i'm sick in bed lol). thanks for your great vids!

From the new Macbook Pro, I expect we'll see no super-drive, flash harddrives as standard and the usual improved processor on the top model. I'd like to see even better battery performance too. I was wondering what they might do with the extra space inside once they've got rid of the DVD drive - I was hoping it might be used for more substantial batteries but I guess they're just making it smaller. What the hell is "liquid metal"? Has James Cameron granted permission?

What i want in the new macbook pro.. -no super drive, i think its a waste of space since i don't use them hardly at all, just use an external one when needed -All the internal hardware to be about the same, options for quad core and and high storage space and such -A new unibody design, i don't think we will see a black mbp because they will hopefully still make them out of metal, so just a new design -And be relatively close to the macbook air in thinness

the things i would like to see in the new ipod touch are...... a larger screen instead of the same 3.5 inch we've delt with for nearly 5 years. the apple A5 chip for better gaming. the retina display is perfect. a better camera possibly, hopefully one like the iphone 5. 3G capability would be nice. and i would like to see a 120GB model. and i would like to see a white version of the ipod touch.

Love the vids. I would LOVE to see an iPod touch with an aluminum back, similar to the iPad. About the pro, they just added a thunderbolt port to it, and I don't think there'll be a new one soon. I think the iPhone 5 is long overdue, thus it may have had some testing problems. Also, I would love to do a review on your aye gear vest, if that is possible!

all the talk is about the i phone 5 having a larger screen I'm not a big fan of the bigger screen as i was looking at a mates h&c what ever with one of those larger screens i thought it was way too big i am more looking forward to ios5 than the iPhone 5 atm especially iCloud gone be awesome and also a bit of topic but bf3 cn not wait for that as well

Aye i seen that about the apple stores in China and other countries Lol , i've been waiting for the iphone 5, since iphone4 as i was not impressed buy the iphone4,surprised that apple tv isn't getting an upgrade as that is there real seller as most tv's are internet based and i think it'll be march for macbook pro just in time for a wee purchase.

The next macbook pro MUST and I mean MUST keep ALL the ports that it currently has, maybe change the USB 2 for USB 3, it must have the same CPU lineup, more powerful AMD graphics, user replaceable ram and blade SSD drives and 2.5" drive options, no optical drive. SLIGHTLY thinner design, trimmed size all round, liquid metal.

they need to refresh the macbook pro FASTTTTTTTTTTTT i need to get a macbook pro and want to get the new one not the one they have for sell right right not a big fan and i know that they will refresh soon cause like you said 2008 and they still have the same design and the design is very over due for a change :)

Hi Zen, with ref to the iPhone cases, I know companies like griffin, incase etc. get sent pre-release design specifications under a non disclosure agreement prior to the release of a new model in order to have accessories ready for market. From there they prob get leaked to other lesser companies in china.

@DexSwart get an external blu ray drive, there's software available that allows you to play blu rays on Apple's this way, try search for a one utilising the Thunderbolt port, that way you can read/burn/rip discs super fast. Be sure not to buy Apple's external super drive, it's very very poor quality

they won't replace the macbook pro just yet i think they will create the thin one and see how it sells over the next couple of years.as for the iPhone 5 well i waited in a stupid queue for hours for the iPhone 4 i will not be making that mistake again its just a fucking phone i don't care.

to make the MBP that thin they'll have to remove the discrete graphics cards due to heat issues...and If they do that... I am definitely not buying one... and I am sure a lot of other people wont either... wonder what they're cooking up...

Im planning on getting an Imac november/december.. But i do believe there are coming redesign in the beginning of 2012, would it be worth waiting?.. Expecting that the ssd chips will be put on the motherboard. Really want that.

Hey, just a tip. Can you categorize your videos? In a almost 14 minute long vid I would like to see one or to subjects, but I can't find them with a lot of effort. It would be nice if you could do this a bit simpler.
