Robbie, I have a question. When installing a pre cut heel and mortise and tenon neck, don't you have to remove the thickness of the top of the guitar from the heel before installing it? I'm building one right now and want to make sure I understand that before I proceed. I can't see how to make room for the thickness of the top any other way. Thanks, Carson

Wonderful finish Robert! Thank you for the super video explaining everything. I have a question after everything else. How thick do you think your final finish is? As easy as it still is to sand through it, I would think it's still only around 1 to 2 mil. Does the polish add much, at least a bit of thickness to add some protection? Thank you, Buddy

Robert, I really thought it was funny when you said that the finish protected against humidity changes. I totally understand... It is amazing that an ultra-thin finish like this can provide such a beautiful and just gorgeous outcome. You really should be proud... Well, you and Royal Lac.

+Buddy Martin Thank you. The final finish is very thin and comparable to my French polish finishes. This finish offers protection from humidity changes and minor scratches but due to how thin it is applied it doesn't offer much in the way of dent protection. You probably aren't taking your guitar to the beach anyway! haha
