The myth that one needs an i5 or i7 for productivity continues. I use this
very same Asus for web development. I typically have WAMP, SCOUT, Adobe
Fireworks, and a few other goodies running at the same time. This laptop
replaced a second gen i5 2.5GHz with 6GB memory. It's infinitely lighter.
It's faster. The battery life goes on and on. The screen looks great.
I also have a Macbook Pro. This thing easily squashes a Macbook Air and
the new Macbook. It's on sale at the Microsoft store now for $599. It's a
hell of a deal at that price.
+Crisia Vertudes I cannot speak for computer games as I don't play them. For development though, I don't have any problems. Keep in mind, you can use the computer for up to 15 days ( I think ) if purchased at a Microsoft store. If you don't like it, return it for a full refund.
I'm thinking of replacing my old asus laptop (i3 second gen with 6gb of ram) for this one. Was it any good? I run Photoshop and Illustrator. Also wanting a laptop that is dual band (or can read 5 ghz band of wifi). What I'm kinda hesitant about is that, sometimes I'd like to run old games like Sims 3.. Not necessarily but it would be nice.. How was your experience?
It is better for my laptop
My laptop have 505 MB RAM AND 32 GB HARD DRIVE and this laptop have 2GB RAM
and 32 GB HARD DRIVE!!!are you kidding me?? It is the best notebook i have
ever seen!!!
+ZeyonoTrueGaming - It's called an external hard drive.
