great take on the Big Blue track and loved the Steve Vai rip in the middle. It's a wonderful live trick to pull and great to see it mixed into some F-Zero goodness. Great musicians and a fantastic performance - would love to hear a decent recorded audio board version of this as well as more F-Zero in the set.

Another video for the Cringe-fest 2015 compilation, eh Liz? Grampa told you he'd get you Bandicam, just wait for that instead. It's nice to see you having fun playing games again, despite TJ being all "I'm not gonna play that dumb game with you. Geez!" per usual. I'll play it next time I'm there. Sounds like you need some heavier gauge strings or a neck/bridge adjustment. When strings are really slack they will buzz on the frets easier so buy some heavier gauges. For example when I used to down tune to C and B a lot I would use D'addario 11-56 strings and sometimes 12-52 strings. They will shred your fingers in Standard tuning but when Drop tuned, they give a nice thick sound without being sloppy.

@JaysenX2 Try thinking of it in patterns of threes. Get a metronome and put the tempo from 50% to 75% the tempo of the song. Start by playing the first three notes. Make sure they're clean. Then add the next three notes. Again make sure it's clean. Keep going until you've got the whole riff. It's gonna be painstaking and annoying but it'll help and be very much worth it.

Thanks for uploading this tutorial, I never got the mood to start working on the tabs for this song, but now I'll practice every day 'til I can bust the hell out of my amp! :P Keep it up man! @FamilyJules7X how come you don't show whereto actually put your fingers because it would be super helpful and plus im using a learners acoustic guitar and if i know exactly where to go it would sound better than me trying to guess where to put my fingers

Do you think you could work out the backing counter melody part? It sounds like a scale run which then decends in groups of 4 but my musical ear isn't good enough to work it out properly :( GREAT vid and tab though!

@adam0509 I like the range you can get in Drop C. You can hit all the standard tuning notes using harmonics. It just seems more logical to play in C. Besides... it's Fu*kin BRUTAL!!!
