actually nobody's gonna want the iPhone, stupid. it's gonna cost too much.
if u were smart, u would've known that a lot of people aren't gonna wanna
pay $500-$600 just for a phone. even though it's the best phone in the
world, it's still not gonna attract people cuz of its price. don't assume
that iPhone is gonna come off the shelves that easily. sure a lot of people
will buy it at first, but u will notice that more people would rather have
just a normal cellphone.
yeah i think i wrote it wrong, it's cuz this guy was saying that the iPhone
is gonna be like the razr where it's too popular and everybody around has
it, no, i beg to differ, i don't think everybody's gonna have the iPhone
like a razr, i just think only some ppl that u would see passing by would
have it, i don't possibly think that mostly everybody with cellphones own
the iPhone. wel they probably will after when the price goes down.
where can i get this in the US and work properly? i bought a phone in korea
last year b/c the saleman swore up & down that it'll work in the US...it
turns out that it only works in the LA area w/no text messeging & limited
service anywhere else if any...help me out...i dont want an iphone...its
gonna b like the razr...everyone will hav it...korean phones r the best
around anyways.
my experience w/motorola and nokia were really bad & my friend told me
about samsung & LG...since then ive never had problems...the phone r field
tested in korea b4 the phones come here so i hav confidence...however, i
dont know about iphones...hav they been field tested? or r we the test
market? what if they hav a problem? i cant live a day w/o my phone!
windows mobile works great. especially if u use SMTP on ur exchange
servers, which iPhone can't do (they use POP3 & IMAP only). the iPhone is
more for fun, which is why i'm gonna get one. to have on the weekends so i
can carry around my music & vids. but for real world work, windows mobile
is the way to go.
It was made by one of korean PDA vendor named Cyberbank. The name of phone
is POZ X301. It's very old phone to be produced 3 years ago. As you know,
there are many new smart phones operated by windows mobile in korea.
its korean.. not chinese.please make sure your statements are correct

+Demetrius Payton You are right. I run on a treadmill at home so I measure it with a wheel. Really no way to know if you are at a gym. You could keep the calibration number the same on your watch and just go off your watch instead of the treadmill, but the watch of course isn't 100% accurate either
Aaron, thanks for the review. I'm testing out my new footpod this week. I
notice you use velcro to fasten to shoes. Sounds like you have confident
of not loosing the pod. I'm not sure I do yet and since I use multiple
shoes for running, I will need to find other options to interchange the pod
from one shoes to the next. Do think small shoe pocket will work or does
the pod need to be expose in order to get accurate reading?
+Aaron Olsonyes, I got that on one shoes but would like to keep it there. I was hoping Garmin would sell the shoe lace clip seperately but can't seem to find it anywhere. Anyway, thank for the input. I may try the velcro.
Calibrate using the garmin 310 calibration tool on the watch itself or the software, either one works. If you calibrate on the watch it will ask you to run 800 meters and give you a calibration number. If you use the software on pc you can obviously run longer than 800 meters and get a more accurate number
Incidentally, does the foot pod give you cadence, distance and pace for
every lap in a run or just over the whole activity? Otherwise I will have
to end the activity after every session and start a new one, which would be
a bit of a nuisance. In a training session I usually just keep pressing the
lap button after specific intervals, keeping all the data in one activity
session.
Thanks for the good video. I'm thinking of getting a Garmin foot pod,
mainly to measure running cadence, which is the one thing not measured by
my GPS Forerunner 305. This should not be affected by any inaccuracy in
distance/pace or errors in calibration, as it is the fundamental thing
measured by the accelerometer in the device. Once I have my average cadence
for a run, I can work out my average stride length from the GPS distance
data, which I am hoping to gradually increase without losing cadence. I
don't think the foot pod would be accurate in distance or pace up or down a
hill. How would it know my stride length which is much shorter uphill and
longer downhill? Over a whole run the distance might work out about right
if starting and finishing at the same point, including uphills and
downhills. However, I often do hill climb interval training and like to
know my specific speed, cadence and stride length up these hills. I don't
want to have to recalibrate for this every time. I think I will be better
using Garmin Forerunner for the speed and distance and adding in the
cadence data from the foot pod.
It can know your stride length by using its internal accelerometers. Actually some people find the foot pod more accurate than GPS data. I'd highly recommend looking at this site for more info, it also has a downloadable program where you can compare the accuracy of foot pod data with GPS data //fellrnr.com/wiki/Footpod interestingly he found that when the foot pod is paired with the garmin 310 accuracy increases
