I look forward to reading her current book when I'm financially able to do

One thing that troubles me, though, is this use of language of "community"
of homosexuals. We don't use that language for a "community" of adulterers,
or "community" of people who steal or whatever other sin. I don't know how
or why we must accept the idea of a community of people based on a
particular sin. Let's stop adopting the world's terms.
She also mentioned at the very start that "we" (I assume the church) treat
homosexuals like they're some other sort of species. (Or something that
effect.) That's not true at all. It's homosexuals who have chosen to make
their sexual desires and behaviors the entirety of their identity! That's
why they use the term "homosexual community" and that's why we shouldn't
affirm that by using their term. They have chosen to separate THEMSELVES,
not the other way around.

Maybe it's the crowds we hang out with, but the LGBT communities around me are largely independent from drug use or torn families.Many faced persecution later in their life for coming out.Singling out one sexuality and preconceiving it with drug-use or other misbehavior is stereotyping, which is why the word "bigot" is fitting.I'm not calling you that, but just letting you know that that's not what this video is about.The "bigotry" discussed in this video deals with Christians who lovingly disagree with homosexuality and do not stereotype it. They don't deserve to be called bigots, which is why this video is so important.Hope I helped :)

The Sexual Anarchy Crowd always love to portray themselves as victims. I wonder how often it happens in America that such people get thrown out of their homes SOLELY because they say they are homosexual or whatever. I wonder if other factors are involved, like rebellion and conflict in the home caused by not wanting to live by parents' rules, or drug use and other sorts of destructive behaviors.But of course even questioning that gets you labeled a bigot and a "hater" and all the rest of the childish names people are called when they dare to question the narrative that homosexuals are Always Victims, All the Time.

A parent can love their toddler with all their heart. But I don't know any parent who loves a toddler's behavior when they're on the floor screaming and crying because they didn't get their way. The same thing goes for a teenager. Parents can love their teenager, but there's nothing "lovable" about behaviors like screaming that they hate you, staying out to all hours, ditching school, getting high with friends, etc. Accepting a person does not necessarily mean accepting all the things they do in their life. I don't know why so many people cannot and will not make that distinction.

King should be very careful in our language. We too many times accept the
world's language and therefore their thinking that we end up forgetting
what our Father has told us , This too many times dulls the Gospel.

Also, as Christians we can sometimes use the language the world uses and instead of basing it on their thinking, incorporate the gospel into it through a Christian perspective, on the thinking that is seen in the Bible about various issues.

Her message is excellent, but please don't use the word "community", God
talks about the church being a "body" which is much, much more complex,
deep, interconnected and diverse. Just as we should not accept the Freudian
concept of "sexual orientation" let us not accept the world's definitions.

+Paul Perrone I truly hear what you are saying and while she did a good job, the one thing that I didn't quite like is the fact that she kept repeating that when they say "we are born this way", that they are referring to the "Adamic nature". I don't believe that a homosexual sees his or herself as sinning, rather I would like to believe that that reference that they make, is to the effect that says "We are born to be homosexuals"; rather than acknowledging the fact that we are all fallen as a result of what happened in the garden. She is able to view it from that perspective, because of what the Lord has done in her life, but I don't think that is how the average homosexual sees it.

+Paul Perrone I think the reason that she uses the word community instead of body is because she is trying to build a bridge between the Christian and the one who identifies and really believes they are ''gay'', lesbian, homosexual, etc. I believe she is doing what Paul did with others in 1 Cor 9 19-23. That might be one of the reasons why she is using that language. Good point though.
