This shows the proper locations for the lpt nand dump cable used to mod an xbox 360. This particular cable is causing errors. The GREEN ground wire needs to ...
How to jtag an Xbox 360 (Cheap and tidy) - Part 2
This video is for Xenon consoles using only wire and diodes. To fully jtag an Xbox you will also need to solder the NAND pin headers and dump the image.
Yes you can unban a console doing this, but any console that was banned
within the last 6 months is too new and you cannot run Xell on it due to
dashboard version, so if your console was banned like last year and the DB
was never updated it will work. If you were banned this last fall, it wont
work.
@atticustheory7 I have a jtagged console that was banned like a year or two
ago and was never unbanned. if I use this to unban it wont it get banned
again in a matter of hours? and then Its banned forever!?! or will it be
permanent? or is there a better way to unban it?
Pretty simple has on screen directions. You rename the file you want to
flash updflash.bin and place in same directory then follow the on screen
instructions the program gives you.
READ DESCRIPTION -------- PLEASE LEAVE A LIKE THANKS ok guys what you are going to need A good Soldering Iron with a good tip solder nand x - with the ...
at about 20 seconds in the video you said you could use the nand x or
something, i couldent understand sorry. i thought you said the coolrunner
which would be great because im going to need that anyway and im trying to
keep the cost down. si is the coolrunner what you said? thanks
Cheers mate finally found a vid that tells me when to get your nand!! Good
work the two dislikes were probably because there american and can't
understand the accent =P
NAND-X NANDX Wired Header Install and Reading NAND JTAG Tool
This a add-on tutorial to my JTAG tutorial. Basically this replaces the LPT cable with the Team Xecuter NAND-X device. In this tutorial I will show you how to ...
Technically you can. However the data on the NAND is HEAVILY encrypted and
the only way to decrypt it is if you have your CPU key. To get your CPU key
you'll have to JTAG or RGH your Xbox, make a backup of your NAND (Make like
5 backups and check to see if they're good). THen you flash Xell, and Xell
will display your CPU key so you can decrypt your NAND image and get your
DVD key.
I'm in the same boat as you. I bricked my RGH system last night so I had to
order a NAND-X. However I had made a backup of my NAND before I bricked it
and I also have my CPU key as well. So unless you have a NAND image that
came from YOUR Xbox 360 or you have your CPU key from YOUR Xbox 360 to
build a new NAND image with you're pretty much fucked. You can't just use
any NAND image.
@1200Expert - The NANDX retail kit comes with what are called QSB's (Quick
Solder Board). They are pretty easy to install, I may do a tutorial on how
to install them one day. First read the NAND with the NANDX, confirm CB,
etc, then install the QSB's, then write Xell/Xellous.
bro your videos are cool im just starting my jtag journey read my nand
following this video just ordered jtag kit 2 for my falcon 7371 console i
normally paid people to do this for me in past thanks for showing me anyone
can learn
hey i bricked my jtag a while back and now im trying to fix it. i was told
if i buy a nand x and reflash my jtag with the org nand it will work as a
jtag again. lol what do u think
i have a question. whats the name of ur video for the jtag?
Reading your NAND with Xell.
If you have a big block Jasper or are using an LPT cable, reading the NAND can take ages. It takes over a day to read a 512 once with an LPT, and almost two ...
ye you need drivers, mine wouldnt show just beeped you need to downlaod
nandpro 20e and go to device manager and you should see memory access with
a yellow exclamation mark that is the flasher you need to manually update
drivers, browse computer and select the nandpro 20e folder then your
flasher wil assign those drivers and it should come up as nand x i did
those steps and have made numerous nand dumps with no errors i too sent my
first one back if it lights up wen you plug it in it works pal
@TRUESDALEBOY I personally didn't have to install any drivers for it to
work. I did have a TIAO nand flasher before this one that I believe needed
some drivers so it may be a possibility that those were the ones that were
needed. There aren't any explicit instructions that drivers are needed on
the Matrix site either though, they just mention that it is compatible with
Nandpro 2.0e
Hey mate, nice tut. but what kind of wires did you use? Can I just use
standard singlestring ones from an ethernet cable? :D At least I hope so.
And how long should the be? 10-15 cm for the nand flasher. And do you have
an Idea how long they should get for the matrix glitcher chip? thx
if you don't have a LPT port you'll either have to find an older PC that
does have a LPT port and make the appropriate cable or if you're wanting to
use USB you'll have to acquire an interface like the one I use in the video
I SENT MINE BACK IM GETTING A NEW ONE SOON, I COULDNT GET IT TO POP UP IN
WINDOWS XP, IS THERE ANY DRIVERS I NEED TO INSTALL PRIOR SO THAT THE
FLASHER WILL GET RECOGNIZED IN WINDOWS,,ANY HELP WOULD BE NICE THANKS..
@truesdaleboy i found that if you plug the xbox power in it doesnt show.
first plug the usb pwr in and it should show and you do need a device
driver for it
what is this for? just wondering i mean i know what j tag is but what dose
this do and how is this going to help my console? can anyone explain?
thanks:D
