Very Nice idea and execution. Do you have a video showing the pattern weights being used? It has always seemed to me that there's no way pattern weights would hold everything securely enough while cutting...

Good idea. I use small vintage (travel)irons as weights. They look cute on the shelf in my sewing corner and they are handy and really heavy. I bought them for some pennies on eBay.

Vanessa, You can get a sheet mat of magnet material. You can put that under the fabvic and washers will be held down and not slide. These are nice looking with the fabric. Dee

Good tutorial. I glued 3 of the weights together and then wrapped them with ribbon I had on hand. Your idea of stretchy fabric will help me use up some of my scraps...thanks!

Love it! I've been needing to get some weights, usually end up using my phone, scissors, serger thread, etc as weights. This is a much better option!

it is no sew, the only reason I sewed the button on the case was so it would last longer but you can stick it down with some fabric adhesive.Thanks for watching!
