Hi! Today (or should I say this evening?) I am going to show you how to make snowballs out of yarn. It is as always very easy to make though it can get a little bit ...
Your advice is don't use wool if you love animals? That's SILLY! It's just
a haircut for the sheep - they are not hurt. In fact, it's actually more
comfortable and healthy for them to have their longer winter coats shorn
for spring and summer weather. Especially in warmer places like Australia
where so much yarn comes from.
+Dori Gutman Hey. Sorry it took me so long to answer. I also come from a place where yarn is used a lot. And that is all good if you own a sheep. But nowadays the wool industry is becoming more and more like the dairy industry. Sheep are kept in cages and used only for yarn and then sent to slaughter houses. I own some wool clothes and use them but if I were to buy any new stuff made out of wool I would buy it from people I can trust to not abuse sheep. :)

Never-Melt Snow Poms
Be a blizzard wizard when you make your own stash of snowballs! The fun will never stop with these never-melt snow poms that you can make using index cards ...
My grandmother taught me to tie a square knot without a helper finger on
the knot. Simply wrap the ties two to four times instead of the usual one
time. Tighten and it will stay tightened while you do that final tie to
finish off the square knot.
Thanks, I'll have to try that - especially on days when I'm all thumbs! Martha
