Do your bath towels have a crunchy feeling, even after you've just washed and dried them? First of all, don't hang them on a line to dry. Use a dryer. But for most ...
Andrea Gibson - Yarn
Andrea Gibson is a poet and activist. Her poetry focuses on gender norms, politics, and the struggles facing queer people today. To find more about her please ...
I think my favorite part of the poem is "Is their a shore line somewhere
with seaweed that hold the rock so tight they soften into sand... Is it too
late to tell you thats how my heart feels in your hands?" and "I saw the
moon last night for the first time in months she reminded me of you
slouching stubborn in the light id fight battles with the sun to rest
against you tonight. To feel your breath on my pillow" *awe...Swoooon*
Che bello. I hope she never stops writing till after the day she's died and
then some. I want her words to come alive every day for the rest of while
someone out there is breathing, because if they're breathing then their
heart is beating and I know these words deserve to be spoken. I'm going to
bed tonight with her words in my head: "I sleep backbone to floorboards
cause they're softer than regret."
I start listening to one of her poems, and even if I try to force my hand
to click off and go to a different poem, it never happens. I listen to
every word and gasp of breath to every poem that I click, to move away
would be like saying 'fuck' inside the church, it would just hurt.
can she ever write a bad poem? Gosh, GIBBY, you are great! fave line "i've
had a bandaid in one hand and in the other a gun. something has been
screaming, fire kid, but something still is screaming live. so baby write
me a bridge away from the storm" wow!
39 ★ Conditioner for Yarn Twists: Aloe Vera Juice Rinse/Conditioner
When I wear yarn twists, I don't use conditioner. After I shampoo my hair, I condition my hair with an aloe vera gel rinse/conditioner. In this video, I show how I ...
@TheCoilWhisperer I use it and my hair feels...funny. It doesn't seem to
feel as good as I would like. It feels almost rough. I THINK it is because
of all the strengthening "agents" that I already use: ayurvedic powders,
henna, cassia. Not ony am I not repurchasing this, I think I am going to
use the henna that I purchased last month and then that is it for the
henna. I am a the point that I just want to throw everything away, only
keeping shampoo, conditioner, gel and grease! :)
@TheLordsPrecious You are soooo funny! No, it doesn't make my hair sticky
or attract "flying things." (I LOVE THIS!) I think the key is keeping the
honey to a small amount to ensure it doesn't make your hair sticky. I have
been thinking about this blend and since my hair LOVES glycerin, I am going
to add it to the "rinse." Hope this helps, lady!
@ltcartwright1976 It is funny that you mention this - I am beginning to
have mixed feeling about the SAA. I like it, but there are some days I look
at my hair and I am not too impressed. This is a product I proabably won't
repurchase. However, I "loves" me some honey and aloe vera juice/gel!
Oh, ok. Nevermind the question I left on your other video about rinsing the
"rinse" out, lol. Now, my question is does it make your hair sticky in any
kind of way (b/c of the honey) or attract "flying" things? Just my concern.
Thanks.
For my hair, the silk amino is a no-no for everyday use. I can only use
proteins every 3 to 6 months in my protein deep conditioners. But I can use
this basic recipe with some of my liquid leave-in by IC for extra dry hair.
Thanks!
great tip. i will be trying this out. didnt know u cld get silk amino acids
in powder. is that some kind of protein? i enjoyed the vid, you look great
and ur personality and smile are infectious!
@TheNaprika Hi there! Yep, you can. I don't think I will repurchase the
SAA, though. I think my hair gets enough strengthening from the ayurvedic
powders. Thanks for the compliment! :-)
@jaylon4194 Yep, build up is a real concern for me. Nothing - with the
exception of not putting anything on your hair - eliminates it completely,
but using liquid-based products help.
"pretty woman walking down the street, pretty woman ..." do you know the
song? that's what came to mind as soon as i saw you! you have mastered the
yarn twists/braids! :)

Why are people being complete bitches on here??? It's HER YouTube Channel.
Not yours. Just leave the hate to yourself. If you don't like her then you
can just leave. Nobody is making you watch her videos. I think this is a
good idea. I like her channel. I was scrolling through the comments and
found A LOT of hate. She's just giving people ideas of what to do when you
don't have a $3 beauty blender. Just leave her alone and let her post what
she wants to post.
Bitch first of all, people can say whatever the fuck they want. Everyone has a right to their own opinion. When you make videos on YouTube, of course some people will not like them, especially when they're annoying as fuck like these ones, she tries way too hard, and seems to me like she's only interested in getting subs, or "glitter critters", she acts like a child. Shes what, 27?! honey if you can't handle the truth, go somewhere else. It's YouTube.

Wow, I have never heard of this! I am going to try this today. I have the
ingredients so I will give it a go! Really looking for natural
alternatives!
+Marguerite Farrell That's fantastic, I usually toss it right in with the clothes. Perhaps use a little less especially if you're using cold water. :) Glad you enjoyed :)
I washed my blankets yesterday with castille soap, and used epsom salts. My blankets came out wonderful! It did not all dissolve so not sure what to do about that. I put it in the dispenser. Thanks for this great tip!! I am going to tell my daughter about it because she definitely tries to use natural products. In fact, she makes me this cream that is just magical. I think it has honey in it and my dog keeps licking me! But it is sooo healing! Natural is better!
