@kaylabruno98 Well generally I can only speak from the prices that are set here in the US and compare to more US prices I see. But yes if I compare to international prices especially after currency plays a part... your prices are obviously crazier! But speaking from a U.S Target store price... $30 is a lot higher than other powders that target carries. $30 at sephora isn't that much but when you take the store and brand type into account it can vary.

Fantastic picks in this haul, Sam! Can't wait to see that gorgeous Kat Von D palette in action. That Benefit set is a ridiculously good deal, it seems. Unless the sample-size is really tiny, lol. I'm totally curious about that Maybelline Illegal Lengths mascara. I really really like the Falsies mascara too (non-waterproof), but I'm SO curious about this fibre formula. Pls let me know how you like it as you use it more! Thx -.3

@kaylabruno98 ...that's because your cost of living is different than ours. your salaries are completely different too. I'm sure there are things you have in australia that you think are super cheap but americans think are super expensive. either way, you're comparing apples to oranges since it all just comes down to your own country's economy.

The reason that the Napoleon Perdis powder foundation is so expensive is because its an Australian brand. Its the same price (from memory of my LA trip) in the US as it is in Australia. And in Australia its not considered a 'drugstore' brand. Its more higher end. Though we also have the 'Set' collection sold at our Target stores.

I want to know if the finishing veil makes a person look dewy.. im not a fan of dewy makeup... do you have any recommendations?

Great Haul,love!I've always wondered about the Napolean and No.7 lines,i have never seen anybody review them or seems like buy them,lol.And, your right $30 dollars for foundation at Target is kind of steep!That nails inc. nailpolish color is sooo pretty,i gotta buy it,lol!!!

it's crazy how we both have the same looking hands. big rings or statement rings never suit me well either because my fingers are so skinny and long and it feels like it weighs down my hand too haha. but the one you got looks like a nice size and looks nice too!

Some Kind'a Gorgeous is a Cream-to-Powder "Foundation Faker" ;) so it's a foundation .. it's basically a cream-to-powder foundation that covers like a medium coverage foundation but doesn't feel heavy like one :) it's creamy, but it's oil-free also :)

omg, you're so lucky--my maybelline master drama liquid eyeliner brush was so flimsy and dried out so fast >:O I was so disappointed cus i picked up the last one from walgreens, and i thought it was going to be my new HG liquid eyeliner...T.T

I can't believe that NP powder was $30. Pixie,NP Set and Jemma Kidd are quite over priced, IMO. Sonia Kashuk & No 7 are both good quality brands in Target, but they are reasonably priced. Do ppl actually buy that stuff?!

@LadyMICHY1 Tinted moisturizers have light cover generally. The sonia kashuk one can be built to medium coverage after two coats. But if you go over it with a decent coverage powder it can appear like full coverage.

@daciutza I'm between NC30-NC35... the shade blonde (shown in this video.. that is too light for me) in the boots foundation will fit you perfectly. My friend is a NC25 and she tried it on and it looked amazing!

@thankyoujulianne I've worn light makeup in my older tutorials and video... sadly at minimum I would still do liner & mascara because I have tiny lashes that the camera doesn't pick up.

I picked my 2nd blue ray. I think shade 20 is going to be too light for winter. Theres not alot of color selections -__-. I might try the other powder by cargo, have you tried it?
