+nightmisteriorepeating a lie dos not make it true, you know damn well that if 29% of the ACTIVE population was unemployed we would be in a terrible economic recession.in those 29% are you counting students and people who choose to be inactive because they have enough resources to live without work (house-wifes/house-husbands etc)?statisticians know that if you want to, you can create any statistical result by adjusting, tweaking, excluding or including variables.Do you believe that in the USA there are only 5% of citizens without a job? what about Germany? what about Brazil's 7% unemployment? do you believe their statistics? or is just the Portuguese statistics that you don't believe?  For fairness sake, you should only list as unemployed those people  who are actively searching for a job, who are not currently studding, who have less than 66 years of age and are not retired, you should also exclude people with mental illness or physical problems and receive disability subsidies, because obviously those citizens will not get a job and won't even look for one, because they don't need to or they can't work.  If you want to include in the unemployed list all the pensioners and the students you can say that in Portugal the unemployment is over 65%, but obviously that is not an accurate way of determining the unemployment rate.People like me (realist), we are all fed up with doomsday mongers, populists, demagogues and lairs.Take care.

+nightmisterio "don't believe me? then prove me wrong." that is just dumb, you know well that there are many people who work without a contract and so they count as unemployed (I know that because I have been in that situation), in the past I've been working without a contract and have been on the list of unemployed citizens.

Current EU crisis = banksters engineered attack Reason? Make more money with their “created out of thin air”banknotes.Governments of the world should issue debt free currency, as before the banksters legislated their legitimacy. Banking system = parasitic institution afflicting all the economies in the world. Banksters class should be put to work:digging trenches, draining sewage systems, etc. They would be proud of their contribution to the national wealth and would not be considered leaches
