Hi @Juliette Manuele – We’re sorry to hear you had a bad fall! We’re so
glad to hear you were wearing your helmet, and hopefully you were not
injured. Since you did take a nasty fall with your helmet, we strongly
suggest you get your helmet replaced. Charles Owen offers a helmet
replacement program if you take a fall within 3 years of your helmet’s
purchase date, and if your helmet is older than 5 years old, we would
suggest getting a new one simply because they wear out and don’t fit as
securely over time. So, while we feel replacing your helmet is the very
best thing for you to do, if you still need to clean it you can allow the
dirt or debris to dry, and gently brush it with a clean, stiff brush or a
towel to get the worst of it off. Then, you can use a damp cloth to gently
wipe the area clean. Have a great ride! - SmartPak Lyn
please help! I had a really bad fall and I got the top part of my Charles
Owen dirty! I don't want to wipe it off with water because I'm afraid that
it will get worse...

How do you turn the camera in so many angles? I see you using something
that looks like a small adding machine, and then wham! the angle changes! I
want that magic machine! LOL!
+Maria Mar I use Wirecast to control the cameras and output to Ustream right now. That will change as we upgrade the set up. Thank you so much for your kind comments. You're welcome to join HowToGetCreative.com anytime. Stay Creative!
+How to Get Creative - Barb Owen -Thanks for answering. Are you using manycam to coordinate them? I was researching how to do this set up and found that service. (https://manycam.com/) Or do you do it in another way? I guide people through transformation using journaling and art and I loved the way you switch from talking to us to showing us the piece! I also want to take this opportunity to thank you for your teachings. You are an excellent teacher and I look forward to joining your membership soon. (I'm thinking this would be a great Christmas gift for me.) Thanks again.
Oh this was what I was looking for a start to finish process in real time.
I love how you explain your thought process and why you do what you do.
It's making art journaling less intimidating for me. Thanks so much. Hope
to see more art journaling videos like this.
Just watched your video. Would like to thank you for sharing this from
beginning to end. I've spent the last 2 months picking up paints, stamps,
stencils, glues, markers, brushes etc. This tutorial finally makes me feel
like I can start my first art journal page and understand how to do it. I'm
no longer nervous! Thank You So Much :D
+JBaum I'm so glad that you found this video helpful! You have what you need. Just jump in and start! Remember, it's only paper and you can always cover it up. In art journaling, all is fair. Just go for it! Make some marks. Add some color. Stamp a few patterns and see what happens. You can do it!
+Edith Gonzalez Thanks for watching and for your kind comment. Keep creating!

Locker Hooking For Beginners - HowToGetCreative.com with Barb Owen
Barb Owen introduces you to the beautiful needle art of Locker Hooking. With a special hook, fabric strips and some canvas, you'll be creating in minutes.
I have learnt a lot from today's class. I just discovered the mistake I was
doing because my loops kept coming out.
The reason was, I had the wrong crotchet. I was using the normal crotchet.
I'll get one like the one you are using( the needle-like look at the end).
Thank you so much and greeting from Nairobi, Kenya.
Thank you also for showing how to splice strips together. I was leaving my
old ends of my strips hanging all over the place and they kept getting in
the way!
So when you are doing row by row and NOT spiral, you will always go from
right to left doing that little corner stitch and going back again? I am
having trouble hanging onto the fabric and manipulating my fingers once I
have one third of the way of my mug rug done...
+Jeannie S It can be a challenge to hold, for sure. When my hands are tired and achy, I just stop for a while and give them a rest. It's easy to grip the work very tightly. I usually roll up the canvas to hold it or place my left hand below the canvas to help guide the hook back up to the top, if needed. Hope that helps.
Now I know how to do locker hooking the right way. Had someone show me how
to do it and it just was not working out. I guess who ever show her did it
wrong too. Thank you for showing how to do this.
