Hey, Paul...
What you accomplished here is exactly what I want to do. However, there is
no step-by-step instruction as how to do this anywhere that I can find. I
can stream a Hangout on Air with my pc, but it has only 1.65 Ghz processor
and creates terrible Youtube videos.
But my 2013 A1474 iPad should have more than enough juice to produce them
beautifully - like yours! I have the Hangout App, but it is so remotely
different from the PC experience, it simple doesn't make any sense. I
managed to get to record the hangout by using the Chrome app to get it
started like the pc, but there is no place to 'Start Broadcast' nor anyway
of telling if you finished with the iPad Hangouts app. I tried a number of
times, but there is no Youtube video created at the end(?) of the session.
Can you point me and others like me where to get this instruction? Google
doesn't even do it! Maybe you could slap a quick video for us if'n you
can't direct me? Please?
Thank you so kindly...
Just wanted to say, for a channel that is dedicated to YouTube tips and
advice, you don't get many views or subscribers. If your tips actually
work, you should be huge. Just something i was thinking about.
In Fallout 4 today, we accidentally draw the attention of a family of Deathclaws. No big deal for Grognak. This is taken from our Christmas Charity Livestream ...
Just because they did this live? A live performance is risky but not impossible at all
BlackMagic ATEM Television Studio: Streaming, Recording via USB, and iPad / Tablet Control
Full component list - //goo.gl/gk3nN1 (affiliate link) I get a lot of email about the ATEM Television Studio from BlackMagic design. Here are some answers to ...
Thanks a lot for all your great videos, Lon. Great quality, straight to the
point and very insightful. Your time spent on those is highly appreciated!
:D
Ron, youR videos are great. The time you are taking is very much
appreciated. I have a question about audio. Can you explain the audio
connection from your Beringer to the ATEM. Thanks in advance.
I am experiencing a lot of difficulty connecting DSLR's to the ATEM
Production Studio 4K (trying with a Canon 5D and a 70D); have even taken
the cameras through an HDMI to SDI convertor with no success. On the other
hand, I have connected a RED camera via SDI and it shows up immediately.
Any insights on this?
+Lon Seidman Yes I have noticed that. Unfortunately the settings available on Canon cameras do not precisely match those available on the ATEM switcher. I am considering trying a Canon software hack called Magic Lantern. Any experience with that?
+Lon Seidman the same behaviour happens with systems like my Hauppauge Rocket, the Canon 6D gives no signal while a Sony CX330 gives out HDMI signal without fuss
+Roger Melnychuk I think you want to check that both are capable of outputting clean HDMI signals and are outputting at 1080i or 720p depending on what you set the ATEM to. It's very finicky.
+Roger Melnychuk It seems that in general, dSLRs shut down the HDMI signal output when they are recording, from my experience (Canon 6D here). But lowly video cameras like the Sony CX330 play back through HDMI while recording without fuss.

Sometimes they will do it on their own channels respectively if they wish. Sometimes they'll do at least one night and break it up. Other than that it should all end up on Yogslive

+Mihnea MateescuWhat do you mean? I play Crysis 3 fine, it can run witcher 3 on medium, and MGS5: The Phantom Pain works amazing. Tomb Raider 2013 worked great, the only game I had problems with was Heroes of the Storm which was avarge 25 fps, but that game is badly optimized anyway.
As an apple user and PC user I have to say I think the iPad pro is just a
sucker magnet. Please do yourself a favor and buy a windows based tablet
such as the surface. You have so many more options and a truly "pro"
experience. I don't understand how they can make a paper thin laptop that
runs osX but yet this overpriced garbage runs iOS? Don't get me wrong I
love iOS on my phone where all I do is read articles, browse the internet,
listen to music, and maybe play a game here and again, but doing anything
pro related? I don't even really do anything pro on my MacBook Pro! I just
use my more powerful PC that I built that literally cost less than half of
my Mbp. In hindsight I wish I never bought the thing. It is a work of art,
but like all modern art it is just way overpriced.
Hell, anybody wanna late 2013 retina Macbook pro midrange model for $1000? I bought it for $1600 a year ago and still have the box? Please... cries with regret
