//www.kconnolly.net - I got an iced tea brewer for Christmas. Here I am testing it for its suitability as a replacement for my stovetop brewing process.
Well I would like to thank you for your help here and express some
appreciation for your time and energy. I understand you didnt have to do
this. and commend you for your efforts...
thanks so much I had a question about the fill lines and my machine had
been in storage for about 10yrs so I couldn't remember. But wow.... speed it
up next time?
Thank you for posting this video. I just purchased the Mr. Coffee ice tea
maker you used. I like the idea of using coffee filters for loose tea and
trimming the edges to fit the ice tea maker. Thanks again!
Actually read the reviews of this on Amazon and a lot of complaints about
the cheap glass pitcher. Too thin and cracks. One person had bottom crack
just from putting ice in it.
+uowebfoot Yeah, I saw those too, but we haven't had an issue - still have the same pitcher it came with, though I suppose you could use any pitcher you want so long as it fits under the spout...
Thank you! FYI, if you don't swing the top part over when running water
through it for the first time then it becomes a humidifier. I ran it for
an hour before coming here to see what I was doing wrong. Duh!
+MRiTSGEEZUS lol - well, I'm not trying to persuade you to buy anything - just hoping to help you make the decision with a straight up review. Glad the review seemed to help.
Thank you! We bought one of these and immediately misplaced the manual
prior to using it. Much to my annoyance (at myself and Mr. Coffee) I
discovered that Mr Coffee doesn't have the manual online for this model!
Your video was extremely helpful for someone who had no clue!
+Leon Stankowski Yikes! That doesn't sound good. Thankfully, we haven't experienced any issues like that. I'd definitely put a call in to manufacturer - it should be under warranty!
+hollywoodfrodo Thanks again. In the few weeks of using it the pump failed and we also noticed that the base of the glass carafe was cracking. For the brief time that it worked it was wonderful but the exceptionally poor implementation makes me think I never want another Mr Coffee product.
