Can a JNC660 Jump Start Battery Boost a Vehicle in the Coldest Major City in Canada?
On January 6, 2014 the coldest major city in Canada, Winnipeg, reached a low of −37 °C (−35 °F). My car battery died and I needed a boost. CAA said they will ...
I have the exact same model, and I used it to start a few cars and had it
borrowed to start one. Worked every time. It has nearly 5 stars on
amazon. The company will even send you e-mails (if you sign up) to remind
you to charge it a few times a year. Great video, thanks.
Hi. I have couple of questions. Hopefully you can help me out. I recently
bought a mariner 4 from Intex. Can you please suggest me the best trolling
motor for it? As far as brand and specifications. I have JNC 660 already,
so maybe I will not have to buy another battery, according to your videos.
Please help. Thanks in advance.
+Olga BliznetsovaNo problem! Again the calculations are quite simple. I use a monocrystaline 25W solar panel on the battery to pump in 1-2A an hour while I fly cast. It does not sound like much but it adds up when 3/4th of my time on the water is not trolling.
+phr1sk37 We normally just getting from point A to B. No trolling. Unless its a pleasure trip for fun. We decided to go with Endura Max 40 lbs.I really appreciate your help!!
+Olga Bliznetsova What style of fishing do you do? I would suggest you pick up the motor and test on a normal/average day what amperage it draws and you calculate 50-70% of that capacity in the JNC660 (18Ah).
+phr1sk37 Thanks a lot for your help! I really appreciate it! Do you think JNC 660 will good enough or we will need to buy another battery? Thanks again!
+Olga Bliznetsova Look into the digitizer series from Minn Kota Endura MAX (or similar brands). It will manage the power (electrical) use better and provide longer run periods.

Minn Kota Endura C2 trolling motor and JNC660 battery booster pack
UPDATED video with motor running mounted to Intex Seahawk II boat on a lake: //youtu.be/wXNx53-Igt0 Minn Kota Endura C2 35lb trolling motor: Amax ...
Ive heard this motor can pull 30 amp THIS TEST STINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE
IS NO LOAD ON THE MOTOR THUS DRAWING MORE AMPS IT NEEDS TO BE IN THE
FREAKAN WATER PUSHING A BOAT!!!!!
the motor is not under load conditions (in the water) this is why your
amperage did not change duh. and that lil battery wont last longer than a
hour. stop reading the manuals and internet and do a true test its funny
waching people who no nothing about what they are showing dude its a jump
pack. buy a real battery.
+TheRcoldguy It is funny how people don't read or listen thoroughly before putting forth their thoughts. Anyway not flaming you, thank you for pointing out my mistake of which this video has a caption AND updated info in the video description to point to a newer video. I did not remove this video because I do not hide my mistakes and the video still has information I wanted to share. Did your Minn Kota 36lb thrust motor manual have the amperage listed? Mine did not and as noted when I called the manufacturer they were not able to provide the information - hence why I made the two videos. FYI the jumper pack works great. We have used it on a kayak with a 45W solar panel all day long in the ocean and the Ripetide 45.
