the longer you leave it on your hair, the better your color will be. I
applied two months ago (real henna powder, not Lush's) and kept it for 12
hours, when I first washed it I had a super red/copper color it was just
gorgeous, 2-3 showers later the color settled on my hair and now I have a
beautiful mahogany color. Honestly if you apply henna on your hair, do not
keep it 2 hours only, the color of this girl's honestly almost the same as
her original one. dare, you will not regret it
i did put real henna from morocco today en i am going to sleep right now and i hope its gonna work! and ps: i mixed the henna with 1 eggyoke and some oliveoil
Not sure of the first two questions but you can buy this in Lush. It's a natural/handmade beauty product store. I believe you can buy online if they don't have it where you are.
Using Lush Caca Rouge Henna | ArielJohnson
Here is how I use henna to make my hair red! What in wearing: Top: primark Makeup: Shiseido stick foundation and concealer Shiseido sheer and perfect ...
I've been thinking about going from chemical hair dye to henna but I'm
afraid it won't be pretty visible, as I have naturally medium brown hair.
What's your natural hair color? I love how it turned out on you :)
Well my natural colour is a mid brown but it does naturally have a bit of red in it. I did put it on top of a red chemical hair dye. It comes out different on everyone but henna can be really vibrant - just make sure it's really hot so wrap towels round your head and you can always layer it :)
Love the color! I recommend washing it out in the sink instead of the
shower next time with a medium bottle of American Cream by LUSH! I do caca
marron every three months haha it's not as messy I promise! I start from
the ends of my hair then work my way to the top! Xoxo
once you put henna onto your hair, you can not put regular hair color/dye
or bleach/lightener over it. Your hair will have a negative reaction and
could possibly break off. Just to know you absolutely can not dye over
henna with regular dye.
+Caitlin McEwan I just use regular 100% henna powder. It's cheaper and a lot easier to use, but I love it for my hair as well! It's all I'll ever use to dye my hair. If you do like more natural skin care and hair care products, or even pet care I highly suggest anyone check out Chagrin Valley Soap and Salve's website, their ingredients are all 100% natural, and everything is also handmade for 1/2 the price of lush.Or even any small natural soap, shampoo bar, and skin shops on etsy.
+draconistarum okay maybe I was mixed up between the henna and the other ingredients then, I have used it before and it's amazing. I'm pretty certain that it's 100% Persian henna and also it's done nothing but good for my hair
+Caitlin McEwan That my friend is a lie lol. i was looking at the ingredients of their products and 80% of their shampoo bars have sulfate as the first ingredient, then other chemicals they clarify as "man made" then of course "fragrance" listed because it's sure as hell not essential oils giving off that aroma. They basically just put some chunks of seaweed or whatever in their products and label it as natural. It's MORE natural than others, but definitely not as natural as you could find at a better price even. As for the henna I know it's henna mixed with cocoa butter, whether their henna is 100% pure or not, I don't know.
+draconistarum henna from lush is definitely 100% natural, that's the whole purpose of their store, everything is handmade and doesn't have any chemicals
+Caitlin McEwan I totally agree with you because I had been dying my hair with henna for a year and recently I just completely bleached it and my hair is fine; however it is hard to get the henna off. I did however used henna powder therefore I had to mix other ingredients to make colours pop out, so I can't really say anything about henna from lush
I think it's dependent on the type of henna, if it's compound henna then it's an absolute no go but if it's 100% natural I'm pretty sure it's safe, although the colour of the chemical hair dye might be slightly off in your hair

Fun fact: Caca brun in French means "brown poo" Also, you can hear my boyfriend typing furiously in the background LOL Here's what you'll need: - gloves ...
hey! I cant understand when you say what is the first type of henna that u
use? I understood that u mix caca brun, but what is the name of the
leftover one? Thank you xx
I have naturally dark hair and I have coloured it to a medium brown shade
with some highlights. I wanna go back to dark, would this work on coloured
hair?
+Sidra Kay my hair was chemically coloured when I did the henna in the video so I think it should be fine. Make sure you get high quality henna though. The other thing is it won't "cover" the highlights, so your hair will just be darker with darker highlight but you'll still be able to see them.
Hi! I've just made a mix of henna, lemon juice, water and coconut oil and I
wonder if I should warm it. Oh, and everything was going well until I
noticed that I used a metal spoon to make the mixture, will the henna react
with the metal? And what could this reaction do to my hair? Did I ruin it?
Thank you very much!
+Melanie Levesque It was pure, so I tried a little bit in a small part of my hair and it went all right. Now I'm going to warm it and I'll put the mix all over my hair. Thank you so much! :D
+Clara Pena If your henna was pure then it shouldn't react with the metal but if it contains other ingredients (like herbs, metallic salts and additives) then it is more likely to react but it shouldn't ruin your hair.
+Clara Pena I'm not sure but you can try warming it, especially with the oils in it it would be super great for your hair. Be sure not to make it too hot so you don't burn your scalp!
Hello! I'm considering dye mi hair with henna, but I wanted to ask you,
what do you use to fill in your brows? Because my eyebrows are like
taupe/ash and I don't want them to look weird once I dye my hair... What do
you recommend me? And thnx for the video, it has been very helpful :)
+Melanie Levesque thank you soooo much for answering my question!! And you're right! Most of the eyebrow products I've bought have has a red-ish tint to them... But I'll try this two products you said :) Thnx a lot for your video and reply! Lots of Love from Mexico <3
+Jaaz Flores Do you mean you want your brows to have a red-ish tint too? If that's the case you could basically use any drug store product because most of their eyebrow pencils, even if they say taupe, have a red-ish tint to them. I don't exactly remember what I used in the video but it was either e.l.f. eyebrow kit in medium (if you layer the powder on top of the gel/mousse thing then you'll get more of that red tint) or L'Oréal Super Liner Brow Artist in Brunette.
Lush Henna Tutorial Caca Brun
In this video I will show how to prepare and apply henna from Lush. The colour I'm using is called caca brun.
Find me on Instagram: @juliethuydang Yo guys whadduppppp! I thought I would make a video about henna hair dye since it isn't that well known even though ...
+马弋茗 If your hair is completely black the red will not show up really red at all. If you have lighter undertones in your hair then you may get a slight tinge of red.
+kaleigh tew The Lush sales assistant told me that the colour would last for 6 weeks but because at the time I had slight highlights, I feel like it last longer in those areas. So, I would say that if you don't have parts of your hair that are chemically dyed, the colour will go away around 6-8 weeks. If you have chemically dyed hair then it will last slightly longer and it also depends on how many layers of the henna dye you do. I hope I've helped! :-)
+aishah abdelnoor I just stated each one's main colour which is basically brown for caca maroon but obviously it has that orangey red undertone that henna has.
I am thinking about buying the caca rouge and coloring my hair. I use to
dye it red with the boxed dye or sometimes got it professionally done but
it ruined my hair and made it horribly dry. I also have really short hair,
not even past my ears all the way around. Would I just use 1 block or 2?
It will only show up really red if you still have the red colour from when you chemically dyed your hair then. Otherwise on your brunette dark hair it will only tint it but you can always keep doing it and the colour will build up.
+Kelsey Rose One block should be plentiful! I'm confident it will at least make your hair more nourished and add to the tone of your red chemically dyed hair. What colour was your hair originally?
Hey! I am naturally blonde but have been dying my hair almost black for a
while now. my roots are coming in and I am hoping to use the caca noir on
my roots for a little longer and then just lightly reach it all the way to
the ends. do you think the dye will be strong enough to make a difference
in my blonde roots? i am planning on dying it a few times to build up the
colour as well. X
No.. Black is no problem on henna, but if you try to go lighter the henna won't bleach because bleach goes into the hair and removes pigment, but henn dyes the outside of the hair, so it will always stay orange, but I've never had any trouble going dark (Started dyeing my hair with henna 8 years ago, bleached and dyead maaany times in between henna and other herb dyes) BUT! Indigo does go a not so nice shade of ...moldy algea type color when you bleach it so unless you want kate winslets hair in "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" I wouldn't recommend it :)
Keep in mind that if It goes bad you can't dye over it !! You have to wait months before using hair dye over henna or the color will go weird and won't work right .
I doubt it honestly. But I would go to the website and read the reviews on the page of this product! There are probably people with blonde hair who have tried this :)
Be careful using henna. Don't go back to your old chemical color after
because your hair may have a horrible, horrible reaction to it. Also, I
wouldn't get my hopes up because henna color doesn't work that well, just
in general. We learned about it in cosmetology school. Its obviously a lot
better for you, but the payoff isn't all that great and you may as well
have stayed with chemical color (just saying).
Not trying to be rude either just tired of people saying your hair will be ruined if you don't use toxic chemical shit on it, it's such a wierd thing to say..
LOL, I went to hairdressing school and wasn't saying it to be rude, just as an FYI. My own hairdresser has done people's hair after they used henna and has had reactions with it.
+InaneFlattery Lol, no.. Only if using "bad henna" AKA mixed with chemical shit people can get a bad reaction. But Henna can't be bleached away, since bleaching works inside the hair and henna dyes the outside, but you can get a few shades lighter and then dye. But dyeing dark with chemical shit-dye is not a problem after hennaing hair.. I've been working with henna/herb dyes for 8 years and I've never seen anyone having a "Horrible reaction" från chemical dye after using good henna..
Here is my second experience dying my hair with Lush Henna Hair Dye in Caca Noir. These are my results, let me know what you think and what has been your ...
If your hair is fluffy, frizzy, or out of control, take it to the next level with Jasmine and Henna Fluff-Eaze. It adds shine, strength, and with Amanda in the video, lots ...
+Amanii1d Jasmine and Henna Fluff-Eaze moisturizes and strengthens the hair, but it's not designed to straighten the hair. You'll notice that Amanda, who mentions using this product herself in the video, has some lovely (and perfectly intact) waves of her own!
You are such a cute person :) i orderd this and i find it to be very
expensive so i hope it will last me some time. I have hannaed hair and my
favorite scent is jasmin, so hey kinda logical i choose this one.
