Gamer Mouse - Mini vMac Tutorial
Tanara Kuranov guides you through installing Mini vMac, a popular classic Macintosh emulator. Call it a tutorial, guide, walkthrough, how-to, whatever.
+Ghast Craft Ehh, the problem with abandonware is that it's a huge legal androgynous zone. If you want proof of that, try to find downloads for any old Macintosh EA games. I'll wait right here while you try that. I'm collecting boxed copies of their games so I can archive them the day those numbnuts finally go bust or get some sense in their heads. However, with Apple's attitude, it's almost like they don't even want to think about their old stuff (their old software archive is gone now!) so...heck, try this: //www.rolli.ch/MacPlus/welcome.htmlGoogle is really your friend here.
+Junior Blitz First off, thank you for actually acting a constructive question. A lot of the links have changed, and I have people calling me names rather than asking a question. So, to answer, "System Startup" and "System Additions" are just Disk 1 and Disk 2 of the 1.4 MB disks. If you were installing on a real Mac Plus, you'd have to use the 800K floppy images, but since Mini vMac can just take any size images, well, we're taking the easier way. :3 Though, you could download the four 800K images, the end result is the same.Another tip, the Macintosh Garden is your friend. Here's a sit file with ready-to-mount disk images, contained in a .sit file. //macintoshgarden.org/apps/macintosh-system-6xThe problem with making a tutorial for this sort of thing is that links are subject to change...thankfully, the process stays about the same, once you find everything!
+Josh Navarro I would ask exactly what the problem is, but I somehow doubt that someone calling me a cunt is going to have much patience in the matter. Yeah, some of the links may be dead, due to Apple pulling down their old software links (so you can direct your ire at them, not me!), but I assure you that Mini vMac works just fine.

Disk Management
Here's another PC tutorial, this one is about using Disk Managment in Widnows to format a hard drive on a computer. Esepcially useful for adding additional ...
@MsWindows7tutorials hmm. maybe try swapping which port the 2nd drive is
plugged into. ie. if it's in SATA2 port 1 of 2 try putting it in port 2.
worth a try if all else fails. Actually happened to me with my old vostro
200 desktop... replaced a motherboard and it still didn't work- it was the
SATA port it was plugged into.
@dvstudiosproductions no i just had it picking up dust and when i watched
your video for installing a harddrive i learnt how to do it an plugged it
in. My first harddrive is plugged into SATA 1 and my second one is plugged
into SATA 2. Thnx for putting my name in this video lol :)
@MsWindows7tutorials did you try refreshing it or scanning for hard ware
changes? if you have, try checking that the drivers were installed and
restart the system. also, sometimes changing the SATA port it is plugged
into can help. Is it a new drive?
Hi Dominique, Is there a reason for me to upgrade to Xbench 3.0? Is it
going to be an annual subscription for this program? I rarely use it, so
maybe I should stick with 2.9? I noticed that when I upgraded to 3.0 Beta,
I lost 2.9. Maybe I should remove 3.0 and re-install 2.9?
I misunderstood by thinking I would need to select the 500+ files one by
one. Thank you for clearning my misunderstanding! Importing these Apple
glossary files in 2.9 is also very straight-forward, as long as you know
how to do it correctly:) Thanks again.
