How do you make the sketch lines so smooth? Mine are always so hard, and don't flow very well. It's pretty frustrating when the lines don't do what I want them to do ;-;

I understand exactly how you feel. use a tablet which makes it much easier. Unfortunately GIMP (2.6) doesn't have a smoothing feature: I think the newer (2.8) does though. There are tablets that have an accuracy feature to them. All I can say is to keep practicing. No matter what tablet or software you use practice will always help.

Thanks for the tip SMARTART :DI used to work with photoshop a lot so i'll stick with that. but for the meantime i could give gimp a try!

+Ray Adnyana Personally I only used Photoshop a couple of times and didn't bother paying for the program after the trial expired because I'm used to Gimp. Objectively speaking every software has its strengths and weaknesses; it depends on weather you, in your opinion enjoy using one over the other. I would recommend giving both programs a try and seeing which one you prefer.

on most drawing softwares, there is this line smoothing feature that makes every line you draw look smoother. also it depends on the tablet you use

I've been having that problem for quite a while. You Solved it for me. Can we go to Bermuda and run nekkid on a beach, maybe have some little drinks with umbrellas? NO? Ok, in that case you'll have to be content with my eternal gratitude. I'd offer you my first born child but that would be a terrible thing to do to you. She's 33 years old and as mean as a cat with PMS. Aw forget it, I'll just say thanks and leave it at that.
