Hi Ali. We’re really glad you enjoy our output and find it helpful, and
we’ll certainly take on board the suggestions and put them to the rest of
the team. As for the best out of the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4, we get
asked this a lot and it’s really difficult! Depending on what you’re after
each has its strengths, but for a good all rounder then the S4 may just
edge it. That said, the HTC One has some great features and we far prefer
its design, so it’ll come down to what you prefer. Dan G
Hi there Thanks for your comment. Okay, for me BoomSound just felt like a
fancy way to say that HTC has installed louder speakers in stereo on the
device. Obviously that results in slightly increased clarity and volume,
but really the audio quality from the inbuilt speakers are never going to
match that of quality headphones or speakers. Its all down to personal
opinion, but they do undoubtedly sound a bit tinny and don’t make for an
inspirational audio experience. Thanks Dan N
Hi there. We actually have a Samsung Galaxy S4 vs. HTC One comparison video
on this video channel, so make sure you check that out for more info. It is
a really tough choice, so it will depend on which aspect is more important
to you. The Galaxy S4 has a load of great software and a cracking display
but, as you said, the HTC One comes out on top in terms of design. It’s
really hard, but if we had to choose we’d just about plump for the HTC One.

Hi there Great question. Personally I found BlinkFeed to be great in
concept but a bit gimmicky after the novelty has worn off. However, if you
are fan of Flipboard or the more ‘tile’ based interfaces that seem to be
popular at the moment then you will probably love it. But I like to have
all my apps, social networks and updates neatly separated. That said, I am
a bit obsessive-compulsive! Hope this answers your question. Thanks Dan N
Hey there Collin Well, that is a tough question! Okay, well we know both
handsets are at the top of the Android smartphone tree so either would be
an amazing choice. My personal preference would be for the HTC One, it is
the better looking of the two and has slightly better build quality. But
the best thing to do is try out both at your local store and see which
suits you better. Let us know which one you go for. Thanks Dan N
Im a "phone geek" and i watch a lot of different channel's review for every
phone, and i must be honest and say that phones4u show most of the features
and in depth. I would also like to see for camera test's the zoom in
effects and video sound quality. I need to ask u, i have a choice of buying
either the Htc one or the samsung s4 GT-19500 (international), which one
would you pick for the BEST phone? thank you :)
Hey there That is a very difficult decision to make! That said, having used
both I would be tempted to go for the HTC One out of the two. Obviously the
Samsung device is amazing, but the build quality and stunning design of the
HTC handset is just that bit better. Whichever you go for, rest assured
that you are investing in one of the best Android devices that has ever
existed. Thanks Dan N
Hi Rahssan Good question. Okay, so both the Galaxy S4 and the HTC One are
great handsets and either of them would be a fine choice. However, looking
at your preferences I would suggest the Galaxy S4 for you. Its battery is
marginally better and it is full of crazily good features and software.
Personally, I prefer the HTC One, but it looks like the S4 is the one for
you. Thanks Dan N
Hi Both handsets you mention really are great units, with each having their
own strengths and weaknesses. However, out of the two we would have to
recommend the HTC One, simply because it is so amazingly put together and
it also runs on the very popular Android interface meaning that there are
loads more apps and games available for it over the Nokia handset. Thanks
Dan N
Hi Disguised Halo That is quite a question! Well, as a self-confessed Apple
geek I would obviously go for the iPhone 5. However, I have never been so
tempted to ditch the Apple life for an Android phone as much as when I
first encountered the HTC One. It really is a very impressive handset. It’s
a difficult decision, but the iPhone 5 just scrapes it for me. Thanks Dan N
i know you wanted there opinion but i was going to get the s4 but changed
to htc one ... i decided id prefer the build of the htc one, and the soft
ware looks better with is feed... but if you prefer all the "gadgety"
things to do with software then id go for the s4... i just though if i was
paying around 700 for a phone, i want it to feel 700 if you get me ??
Hi there, thanks for getting in touch. As we always say with these sorts of
things, it’s all subjective and down to personal preference. Whilst we
understand that many may prefer the Boomsound speakers to standard ones, we
just didn’t feel they provided the level of performance warranted by the
billing. As we said though, that’s just our opinion! Dan G
Its actually really clear speakers. I would strongly argue that its a
gimmick and that audio quality from inbuilt speakers are never going to
match headphone. I have compared the speaker to the incredible Macbook pro
retina speakers and this phone is great. I played around with my uncles
one. Best speakers on any phone yet so i wouldn't say its a gimmick.
Hi there Wessel Thanks for the question. Well, both the HTC One and Samsung
Galaxy S4 are absolutely superb Android devices and either would be a fine
choice. However, I think the HTC device just edges it, thanks to superior
build quality and a lack of all the superfluous software added to the
Samsung unit. Hope this answers your question. Thanks Dan N
Hi Thank you for the question. Battery life on the HTC One is around
average for a flagship handset, so a daily charge should see you through.
However, heavy internet use in particular can take its toll, so a charge in
the evening would probably be required as well. That said, as long as you
stay on top of multitasking you should be okay. Thanks Dan N
Hi Subzac Thanks for getting in touch, it is always great to hear different
opinions when it comes to handsets. Obviously, a lot of what we talk about
is subjective and as such we can only offer our individual thoughts. I did
adjust the EQ on the HTC One but still found that the speakers lacked the
amount of bass response that I prefer. Thanks Dan N
Hi Jack Wow, that is quite a decision to make! Okay, firstly either of
those three handsets would be an amazing purchase. If you want stability
and future proof though, go with the iPhone, for design and build go for
the HTC One and for features the Galaxy S4 is the one to go for. If you
have any other questions just give us a shout. Thanks Dan N
Hi That is a very good question! I would personally go for the HTC One over
the Galaxy S4, its build quality is better and I just love the interface.
However, for an in depth comparison check out the video comparison that our
very own Dan Grose carried out. Take a look at it in our list of videos on
the Phones 4u YouTube channel. Thanks Dan N
Hi Thanks for getting in touch. The roll-out of firmware version 1.29 for
the HTC One has begun on unlocked devices, but network specific handsets
will need to wait until the various service providers have carried out
their own independent tests. Stay tuned to Phones 4u to find out more
details as and when we get them. Thanks Dan N
Hi Dominik, thanks for your question. This will totally depend on whether
your want Android or iOS, plus it will also depend on what the iPhone 5S
brings. Very little is known about it at the moment, so it may be worth
hanging on a bit and then comparing specifications once more information is
available. Hope this helps. Dan G
Hey Lindi Great to hear that you have subscribed to the channel! We always
aim to be as professional as possible and it is lovely to know that we are
being clear too. There are a lot of times when my accent and delivery is
described as anything but! Stay tuned for more videos in the very near
future. Thanks Dan N
Hi Caner Thanks for the question. The HTC One does indeed come with the
Beats Audio technology built in that we all know and love. This is also
added to with the BoomSound functionality for the built in speakers. That
said, the Beats Audio experience is still best through headphones in our
opinion. Thanks Dan N
