 I dont think he wanted to relive all those good memories and bad too, just for the money. so what if he did it for the money, he was her husband, he had the right to tell his story too, and he didnt do it as soon as she died he actually waited 17 years to write it im sure he must of faced a lot financial difficulties in that time so why didnt he write it sooner! he wrote it for her fans and to tell his story with Selena. Hes never made a band and tried using her name to be successful he was her husband and he will have that title all his life, its kind of sad in a way because women might only want to be with him because he was the husband of the most beloved singer for Texans and Latinos.
