DailyRoads Voyager 4.1.1 - Android app as a dashcam
Recording road videos since 2009, DailyRoads Voyager works as a car blackbox, dash cam or auto DVR, continuously capturing videos and photos during your ...
How to resolve the bug message "gps signal is lower" which is showed when i
start video recorder? In cellphone to my friend too appears this message.
And another android version.
+Myller BR It takes a while for GPS accuracy to improve after the app is first started. If it takes more than a minute with a clear visibility to the sky, you can try changing the GPS method (in the app's General settings).
+Arium Bob Dual camera mode is coming in the future, but for now the front-facing camera firmware is even more fragmented than for the back-facing camera. This will only lead to incompatibilities and bugs, so we are waiting for a while to introduce this feature.

Yes, Voyager can run in the background, and even has some overlay buttons which can be used/moved on top of other apps. Please see screenshots here: //www.dailyroads.com/voyager/settings_background
I am not exactly sure what you mean by this. The app already has a camera mode for night driving, although some customizations are needed for each phone model. And most devices perform poorly in low light conditions anyway.
Android doesn't offer support for embedding anything in videos, so you can use subtitles or the server route: //www.dailyroads.com/voyager/settings_overlays
when i upload to laptop the timestamp is not on the video
D901 Android Rear View Mirror Dashcam and Reversing Camera
A handy rear view mirror that has Android built in to it. It has a dashcam and rear view camera too! Available on eBay - //www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121700558774 ...
Nice car and review sir, just a question does this support auto start
function (meaning when i start the car it automatically turns on and start
recording) or do i always have to press record manually everytime i want it
to record?
Yeah, I love driving it. I get terrible mpg round London itself though, so try and use my bike where possible for short journeys.I've had no real issues in the 9 months I've had it so far. Some of the trim needs sticking down on the doors, no quality issues otherwise.
+AndroidAndyUK Can I ask if you enjoy driving an American V8 Muscle car on the streets in the U.K? how is the quality now that your car is barely 6 years old. I remember I was in the Cord dealer in San Diego California buying my 2010 Mustang GT in Powder Sky Blue. I sold it after 1 year when I got deployed to the war in Afghanistan for the 3rd time. I really enjoy Mustangs.
+Rodrigo Campos No, I don't think it does. I tend to turn it off at night. I could be wrong mind... as I often don't look at it at night! If I remember, I'll try and test next chance I get.
hello happy to greet you, I do not speak English, I wanted to see if the
mirror has the option of electrocromatic ???
Greetings and thank you very much from chile
Hi Andy, have you been using your mirror daily now? or did you rip it back
out after the review? I bought one could days ago mainly for the Reverse
camera and dash cam... I'm ok with just the overall quality like you said
it's good to prove you're not at fault or something
+Bob Kelly yes but unfortunately not one of those videos actually shows it attached to the dash of a car being driven in regular traffic. I just thought a sample video of day to day usage would make the review more complete.
They have quite a few videos on their youtube channel: www.youtube.com/velocityclipstudiosThey show it on a baja truck and go-karts and Jeeps. Death Valley Pleasant Canyon/ South Park 4x4 Jeep Trip with Velocity Clip
"My Daily Roads" Dash Cam App Test Android
Pros:meh... Cons: speed, loc, and elevation not imbedded. Not great resolution.
Would it be possible to have not just the main forward facing camera taking
video, but also the back facing camera (the one with the lower megapixel
count) so then the Galaxy S4 or Galaxy S5 could be a dual dash cam?
Thanks
+Steven de Brouwer We already created a mockup of the main screen with a button to switch between the 2 cameras, separately for videos and photos. But, a complete redesign of the functionality reflected on the main screen is a lot of work, and there are always other priorities. This can move higher on the priority ladder if our Kickstarter campaign is successful. We've just launched this, and a redesign would be needed for the LIVE functionality. More info about our plans: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/394952470/dailyroads-live-real-time-video-streaming-from-veh
+DailyRoads That sounds too bad... :-(Is it perhaps possible (desirable?) to add a button on the main screen to switch between the two camera's? Mostly I'd be filming the front, but sometimes I would like to film what's happening behind me...PS Thanks for the great app!
Currently it seems simultaneous use of both cameras is not really supported in Android for 3rd party apps. I've seen this working only in native camera apps, which are probably customized for the specific device model.
I intend on using my smartphone as a dash cam too. after seeing countless
videos on accident scams I felt it was necessary to have some sort of
onboard video. I just purchased an iMagnet dash/windshield mount. not sure
how it'll work out but appeared to be a good product from the reviews.
I know it's been over a year, buy I'll take my chances, what phone mount
did you use? I'm looking to use phones as dashcam on my family's shared
car, so I'm looking for a mount that works with different phones. How has
your phone performed as dashcam this past year? thanks!
