i have a htc one it uses mhl 1.0 so didn't need to buy samsung, plus this cable is more compact

Have you considered using car home ultra for your main screen on your tablet? Provides a much cleaner look for selecting your applications.

Reading the AALinQ app reviews in the play store makes me reluctant to want to go with the USB3 model. There are also many comments on various videos on your channel that mention difficulties with getting usb audio to work. Is the USB3 model compatible with Android Lollipop? I plan to install an car audio device from your company. I imagine BT3 would the next best option if USB3 isn't compatible with Lollipop.
