You have said Guyanese Indian and 'black'...Guyanese Indians are 'black'... Maybe you wish to say Guyanese Indians and Guyanese Africans...'black' is an American militant jargon, which, in the context of Guyana, is equivalent to coolie/baboon, or 'nigger' in the context of America. None of them has thoughtful and sensible linguistic sentiments in Guyanaian discourse and parlance.'Colors' are not ethnic markers. In other words, there are neither 'white' nor 'black' people...nor 'coolie/Baboon' people.Quite true, there are black shoes, white socks ... etc.Peoples' ethnicities must NOT be defined in fashion of colors; maybe complexions - skin-tone, perhaps.Guyanese are consciously or unconsciously inculcating and employing Americanisms to apply to Guyanese social, cultural and even to academic situations and events; which application needs to be carefully scrutinized and analyzed. The Peoples of the West Indies, the Americas and the Guyanas are hybrids of every ethnicity: East Indians, Africans, Europeans, Asians, Mongolians...etc.What a beautiful skit! A lovely sample of one facet of Guyanese ( Creole ) dialects it is.Good fun; so, so amazing! Thanks!.
