Big mistakes that intermediate lifters make and finding the right "work-life balance"
This book will show you how to build muscle, lose fat, and get strong: //goo.gl/lKNKWK In this podcast I talk about the big mistakes I see intermediate lifters ...
Like your brother in law, I too am ectomorphic body type. I started at 140
lbs and about 7% body fat, at 6 foot flat. I now am 163 and about 8% after
2 years of hypertrophic style training. I don't think much of my problem is
the workout rather the diet. Sometimes I hit my macros and caloric intake
for a surplus and sometimes I don't. The main reason is that I don't have a
income right now because I'm a full time college student. Not only that,
but the money I do have I spend on bulking foods like Chicken, rice, sweet
potatos, etc.. The only issue is my parents buy nothing but carbs and junk.
So when I try to make my meal prep my family just eats it, and its super
demotivating. I've tried to talk to them about it but they are just selfish
and say foods for everyone. What should I do?! D: I can't make anymore
gains, just maintaining...
+LazeeNation Try adding more healthy fats to your diet,i have heard of many ectos who have successfully bulked after adding lots of healthy fats :). Trying eating more peanut butter, almonds, have more full fat milk etcc
I am almost 6 months into working out and I am about 15 to 17% body fat at
5'7 and 160 pounds. Not as much as I could have been as I slacked in the
first 2 n a half months. Should I reduce my fat not or should I reduce my
fat after a year of training???
Personally think cuz I'm a newbie keeping my fat around 15 percent to 17 would be good until I start my second year of training. That's a good way right?

Thank you for clarifying that Sean... Hopefully, it will make things
clearer for the masses that follow you. Since I have reached goal, I have
been been trying to find that happy medium, where I can eat normally
anywhere I go, and not use just fat free foods, except for skim milk, and
Sara Lee's Delightful bread...
Dara Dubinet has tonic recipes, I'm sure you know her channel. She is also
incorporating different other foods and superfoods into her diet. She is so
inspiring as well.
I love this video :) After 5 years of staying strict 80/10/10 I also felt
the desire to expand my food choices! The increased fat intake is really
key for women.
It's an amazing foundation but after a certain point I don't feel that it's
harmful to include a bit of salt, more fat, or fermented foods. Truthfully
you're still eating incredibly clean and healthy!
Have you tried kombucha?
+40BelowFruity You are right. Women do need more fat than men. Men have 10-15% body fat. Women have 20-25% body fat. Fat is very important for women, ESPECIALLY when they hit 40. I'm almost 40, and at my age, I need more fat in my raw vegan diet.
+40BelowFruity Thank you, Tarah! I agree with you. It is a wonderful foundation and it helped me tremendously. I love eating 811 clean but I also really love the way I'm eating now too. It feels great to honor my body and follow that internal guidance. Yes, I have tried kombucha, and I enjoy it on occasion. I tried one the other day that tasted like root beer! :0)
+RawVegan4TheSoul That's awesome! Thank you for sharing.

I love the book, and it is truly beautifully written. I now cook just about
everything in Lard. My new fave, is cooking my eggs with it. Adds such
amazing flavor, and they are so fluffy. I have lost 55lbs so far eating
Paleo. This lifestyle has helped with my inflammation due to Fibro.
