I used to have blue black hair but always used dark browns to color in my eyebrows because it looks more natural, and its a neutral color. I always start off by lining the bottom of my eyebrow with a Mac wax stick...then I use my Anastasia duo brow powder to fill them in...the light in the front and the dark in the arch and outter eyebrow...last I brush through the hair with a spolie brush. Concealer is a great tip for defining the shape but make sure its very thin..don't bring it down too far:)

My brow is super thick and dark too (really dark! oh yeah). This is why most of the time I just trim (or pluck) and they looks OK to go. Sometimes I use the light gray brow powder from Mac (dunt know the name cuz I stole it from my sister). It does make my brows look more "nicely shaped" without being too intensified. Regular brown or black powder and pencil just make me feel like I'm playing an "angry bird" role, which I'm not! Still, I totally understand your feeling :(

I have black hair as well, however it's dyed ombre at the moment so it's black near the roots and fades into a caramel brown. I use nyx's eyebrow pencil in taupe to go over my entire eyebrow first, then I use the brown/taupe eyebrow powder duo by NYX to go over it after with an angled brush. I find that using the liner first is a nice alternative to the brow gel cause it makes it super long lasting!

i have black hair aswell and ive had a hard time finding the right color without looking like a clown! i use nyx eyebrow pencil in black and its super easy and retractable. but i use it really lightly in my inner brow just to fix the spots to make it look even ( i have semi thick eyebrows ) and then i use it to extend my brow on the ends. i really recommend it! :)

just got the chance to go through your videos, it's really informative :D btw i currently use a waxy kind of eyebrow pencil in light brown which i bought from Daiso (not sure if you guys have it in the states cos i live in Singapore) and i mash it up with a darker shade of brown eyeshadow hope this helps :D

I like using a brow powder rather than using a pencil:) I just find it easier to apply and I think it looks more natural on me. I used to have black hair back and when I did, I didn't used to fill in my brows, looking back at photos of me then - I wish I did now.. Hahaha :')

My hair is black at the moment, but I'm letting it grow out to my natural dark brown. I use a dark grey eyeshadow to fill in my eyebrows then use clear eyebrow gel. I actually like the more unnatural look because my eyebrows are kind of thinner hair-ed(?) lol

Nice job. I like the gray/black duo from NYX for black hair. Question though, do you always do your brows after your shadow? i would think since you use a concealer to clean/highlight you would do it right after foundation. Thumbs up for the stringy lights.

I know that its a bit weird but, as my eyebrows are black, I just fill with a pencil... for blond... to light them :D but it works! (but actually my brows are a bit darker than my hair so...)

use the wet n wild brow kit or the jordana brow kit in the color that mathes you best and instead of using the wax use a clear mascars, and and eye brow brush :)

The ELF one is very inexpensive but I don't feel like it helps me with lasting power unlike MAC Fix + or Urban Decay Setting Sprays. I just used the ELF one this time because this was a drugstore video && I love using setting sprays!! Let me know if you have other specific questions x
