My due date was 11-13-11. I also wanted to have an 11-11-11 birth, but it did not happen. One of my co-work actually had her baby on 11-11-11. My moms birthday is Nov 20th, I thought I was going to deliver on the 20th, but my little princess was born 3hr and 3min before midnight. I deliver at 41 weeks one week overdue.

And about the cake my daughter was 8 months and a family friend gave her some marble cake at a birthday party she was fine....but for the most part I've been to many 1st Birthday Parties and they buy the babies their own individual cake and let them go at it!!! Its a cute idea i know ill do the same for my daughter shell be 1 in march...and the rash it might be from the winds and cold

Thanks for reading my comments.. It means a lot that you guys interact with your subscribers. I LOVE watching your videos. My daughter just turned 1 on new years day, and cake is ok to give her. I gave my daughter chocolate cake and yes it was a total mess but hey birthdays only came around once a year and this was her first so it was awesome and special and go all the way let her get cake on her hair she will be so happy and that's what matters

Oh and I actually woke up this morning with a rash pretty similar to Jade's! I get it from time to time but it's an allergic reaction. Sometimes it's to face washes or too much detergent on my sheets/pillow case, but this time it was because I used an all-natural toothpaste that apparently has tree bark extract in it...oy. Maybe something she inhaled in all that wind? Only a concern really if she starts wheezing or it gets worse.

I looked up being a living donor and was saddened to find out that I weigh too much to do so...I also had that same idea for cancer research but I don't have the guts to shave my head :(...I did get some info from the American Cancer Society on how to start a fundraiser with them! With the cake question...my nephews all got a part of their cake and it was soo cute!

for my daughters first birthday we had a big birthday cake for her guests at her party and the place where we always get our cakes give us a tiny cake just for the 1 year old and my daughter was like uhhh what the heck is this lol she had more fun getting messy with it than eating it.. im sure one little piece wont do any harm :)

Hey cristeen I just started watching ur vlogs & as a stay at home mom I feel like I can related to you specially the part of being away from your husband mine is in the military so he was to take trips once or twice a month. We always do cupcakes for the kids birthdays and for their first birthdays they get a special cake made just for them that they get to eat or play with...lol in their highchair! It is a special moment and makes for great pictures:) Cant wait to see how the party turns out, love watching your vlogs!

Yes girl! You can give her cake, with my first baby we got her a baby cake (small cake) that looked just like her big cake and she looked it, ate all the frosting and cake . with my 2nd daughter her cake was made of cupcakes so we gave her the cupcake that held her candle and she ate it all too :)

My baby just turned 1 this past saturday. We had a mini duplicate of her party cake made for her sat her in her highchair and let her make a mess and eat it! It got in her hair and everything such cute photo moments :D i think there called smasher cakes it was chocolate!

Absolutely Jayde should have some of her cake - that is one of the top 10 must have picture moment in a kid's life where they have cake all over their face on their 1st birthday!! Chocolate or vanilla is fine - chocolate would look messier for the picture :)

I gave my son a little piece of cake and let him just gobble it all up.. But we never gave him any sweets for the first 2 years so we let him for his birthdays ;) your Jayde is so adorable. I love that name. Also you look better as a brunette :)

At the beginning of the vid your hair looked violet because of the lighting and I thought it looked super pretty! You should dye your hair violet someday! :) I love the brown too. You're one of those lucky few who can pull off any hair color!

You're awesome Cristeen, some people are so attached to their hair and image they wouldn't give it up for anything but helping others woud make you feel better. Your hair would totally not blow in your face either..so thats a plus ;)

I hate Janelle from teen mom she is so irresponsible! My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for 3 yrs now and haven't and I would give anything for a baby and i feel that Janelle just doesn't really care about her baby!!!!!

Aw poor jayde!! My soon to be one year old is teething too and she has those same cheek rashes. Hope she feels better and hope your getting your rest ! My poor baby has been waking up at all hours of the night uncomfortable :-(

My sons first bday he had white cake and whipped frosting and his newborn pic was printed on top. We got it from Sam's but now my son loves chocolate cake and he's 5 :) so every year I have half chocolate half white cake lol

I bake cakes for extra cash on the side and my friend who does photography has me made small cakes for "cake smash" photo shoots. You should look it up on Google its such a cute idea and the kids have fun with it.

What I did is a gave my daughter a cupcake and when it came time to eat cake I gave her her cupcake. She had it everywhere. So I had her wear a t shirt and jeans so we could take picture of her first messy cake
