I'm sorry it hasn't happened for you yet. Yet, being the key word. I
completely respect that you want to conceive naturally and I believe you
can but visiting your doctor might be a good idea. That way you can rule
out any serious issues. For example, I found out that I had an 8cm cyst on
my right ovary. I didn't know it was there, had no symptoms (which I guess
is standard), and found out that it was most likely congenital. Who knew,
I had this thing growing inside me for 41 years and it would continue to
grow. Also maybe your partner would be willing to have his sperm count
checked. I think the test is completely non invasive. If (when)
everything comes back normal for the both of you, you'll be able to
continue TTC with peace of mind. None of this would involve any drugs.
I'm really rooting for you and look forward to hearing about your BFP.
+LivingMyBelovedLife Since June or July 2014. I've been going twice/week. It's not cheap but I found someone reasonable with a good track record. I too was afraid of the needles but honestly 95% of the time, I can barely feel them going in. I decided to try acu because a former colleague, a research nurse, swore up and down that acupuncture was the reason she finally got pregnant at 40 after trying for years. She got pregnant naturally. For me,I want to do everything in my power to give myself the best chance to get and stay pregnant. Even if I only get a placebo effect from acu, I'll take it. LOL Thanks for calling me very brave. I have a feeling that we all are no matter how we choose to go about getting our BFP.
+dragonflyinamber I'm sticking with VERY BRAVE! Prayers are sent your way. How long have you been doing acupuncture? I've always wanted to try but seems expensive and painful.
+LivingMyBelovedLife I'm either brave or foolish or both but I'll happily take all the prayers I can get so I thank you in advance. My IUI date will either be on the 19th or 20th, depending on ovulation. I've been working with my acupuncturist to try to get the timing right. My biggest fear is that I'll end up ovulating on a Saturday and since my clinic is not open on Sundays, I'll have to wait a month for my next cycle. Please do an update once you visit your doctor. I'm sure everything is fine.
+LivingMyBelovedLife At the end of September, I had surgery via scope to remove the dermoid/ teratoma cyst. My doctor and I chose to remove it because 1) it was pretty big and 2) it was attached to my ovary and was sitting on my right fallopian tube. The tube wasn't completely blocked but when dye was passed through it (via HSG test) the dye was extremely slow to empty. So now I'm left with a little less than 2 fully functioning ovaries (they had to remove part of my right ovary with the cyst) and two completely open tubes.I'm hoping to become a single mother by choice so I'm going the IUI route. My first and hopefully last IUI will take place in a couple of weeks and will be unmedicated. In your case, who knows. Maybe everything is fine and you'll get your BFP this month or next. But imo going to the doctor and having a few basic tests done and finding out everything is A-OK is worth peace of mind. That way you can just concentrate on getting the timing right and on the baby dancing. Sorry this was so long but please feel free to ask as many questions as you like. The TTC online community has been a great resource for me. It helped me choose supplements, prepare for my HSG, prepare for surgery, and now prepare for IUI. I couldn't do this without all the great women who take time to answer my questions. Good luck!
Thank you so much. Yes, I agree it might be time for a trip to the doctor. Are you also TTCing? Did you have the cyst removed and what did that involve? Have you gotten pregnant since you had the cyst removed? I really appreciate your kind words and advice.
I'm so sorry. Yes, there is definitely still hope. My sister-in-law had her
baby at 46. Sending lots of baby dust your way and hoping that January will
be your month.
+Monique Marines I totally understand. Doing the blogs is harder than I thought it would be It feels odd since no one in my real life knows we are TTCing. At least you know you can get pregnant. I will pray you get a BFP very soon.

Master Cleanse Day 1 of 40
The chronicles of Delia's 40 day master cleanse. Trying to kill off allergies, candida and other toxins.
I think you are very brave, Delia. Good luck with your mission - and I'm
looking forward to more videos from you. Drinking salt water sounds very
difficult for a start! Bon courage! I wonder whether there's any scientific
support for this regime? Gt Uncle G. xx
