I just got a five pound bag of wheatgrass and a Weston juicer, however it
said it was cast iron. Any difference between it and the stainless steel?
(Other than what they are made of lol)
1° Can I use the Hurricane or Tornado for vegetables such as carrots,
beets, watermelon skin, and so on.
2° Which one is the better between these 2 (bl-30 and 27) ? And what is the
name brand/mark ?
3° I do not like the idea of electrical and plastic slow juicer. But do
these 2 ones have a good juice efficiency ?
Gratitude for your Sharing
+GlobZ Osiris 1. They are designed for grass and leafy greens. You could do softer fruits and vegetables but probably not beets and carrots.2. They both yield the same amount of juice, I find the Hurricane design somewhat better than the Tornado. Those are the brand names, they are manufactured by Handy Pantry.3. Thanks
+RawNutrition.comOkay thanks. Another question I have is what other types of grass besides wheat grass and barley grass are edible and also contain health benefits?
+Trevo Gerch If you mean regular grass like your lawn, no they are not the same. Lawn is composed of different types of grasses some of which are not edible.
+RawNutrition.comOkay thanks, but that doesn't answer my question. I asked if regular grass and wheatgrass are both either the same or different kinds of grass.
+Trevo Gerch There are different grasses that can be juiced, for example barley grass and wheat grass. Most juice wheat grass.
