I’m 62! Ten days ago I decided to go wheat, in reality, gluten free, since I always had an impression that foods made with certain cereals were turning me sick. Even beer! Laying on my bed “listening” to my painful stomach, something came to my mind: gluten. I stop it dead! To feel so good in just a short numbers of days is unbelievable. I’m athletic but all my pains are gone. I just ended up on this video cause I was looking for answers about the way I’m feeling now, and gluten.

just lost some weight maybe 10-15 pounds (i don't weigh myself), since i've been Wheat free for about 3 weeks... Felt ill for awhile from the toxins.. but just starting to feel wholesome again... i won't even touch anything with modified food starch.. Consequently i've eliminated 95% of the processed foods i used to eat.. By far the biggest change i've noticed; is that my hunger is real now.. not insistent, and overpowering like before... Your Health IS your Wealth... Fuck Wheat !!!

Some people do seem to be wheat sensitive. But it is important to remember that isn't everyone. I believe many people have evoled to eat grains just as some people have evoled to persist the production of lactase and subsequently be able to break down lactose in cows milk.

Davis answered this question in one of his presentations...Sprouting does not change the production of gliadin...it just reduces a minor amt. of amylopectin. Ergo, sprouted wheat is NOT the answer...try buckwheat, spelt or kamut.

if you're watching carbs for any reason, including blood sugar spikes, beans are too high carb. Enjoy them occasionally in limited quantities. The information in the book clarifies so much more than "don't eat wheat".

What can I add to my diet that will help me when giving up wheat. What is left to eat for bread, pasta etc. By the way I am type 2 diabetic.

Actually that isn't at all what paleos say. The bean has the same amount of "toxins", if not more, than wheat grains have in them.
