That sucks, seen it happen before. I know an office that had copper gutters put in on the entire building to match the 100 year old + brick exterior in a crappy area and the local PD had a pool going for how long it would be before they got the call. Funny that it never happened though, could be because the PD is across the street. Good luck with that mess!

We had same thing happen here on some forclosed property, had to replace all of the copper pipes and wiring, had the drywall installed and 2 days later they hit us again and stole all of the newly installed copper piping and electrical wiring. they did $8K+ in damage for $300 of copper.

the copper thieves are for real :( my old house they stole the stainless steel appliances and the copper pipes from the basement.. the house is for sale online for 85,000 5 bedroom 1.5 bath, but we dont think it's worth replacing all of that..
