Simple Soldier Cooking Without Utensils
Jon and Josh are on the march today! Jon draws excerpts from Joseph Plumb Martin's campaign memoirs to put together another simple soldier's meal straight ...
+HalfKaztBoy As you mentioned our little experiment produced food that was quite good actually but in Joseph Plumb Martins memoirs he says they went many days without food and apparently quite often. --- Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
what about the "chuck wagon" kitchen?? yes I know that is more cowboy but
someone had to carry all that flour and slaughtering tools why not a wagon
- and I have heard of women following the soldiers working as their cooks
+jmarylastone General Timothy Pickering wrote General Washington on January 14, 1781I mentioned the provision of carriages ... for officers, & for transporting the camp kettles of the troops. The two horse carts or tumbrils for both purposes may be constructed at Fishkill before the opening of the campaign.TUMBRIL - a two-wheeled covered cart that carried tools or ammunition for an army.
How To Install a Bosch 500 Series Dishwasher + Review
Black & Decker The Complete Guide to Plumbing, Updated: Faucets & Fixtures - PEX - Tubs & Toilets - Water Heaters - Troubleshooting & Repair: Amazon.com: ...
+Tim Mark Hi Tim: It's been running great. We did have a problem with the hot water heater. However, Bosch sent out a guy free of charge to change it out. The stainless steel is very nice and still looks new. We find the 3rd tray to be very useful. It's so quiet you don't know that it's on.
Just a couple of things. Most dishwashers I have replaced have been direct
wired. Some installation companies will not hook them up believing that
they have to be licensed electricians to wire install the new unit. When
you are removing the drain line from the garbage disposal, have a bowl or
small bucket ready to catch the nasty water that will come out of the hose
when you remove it.
We just installed this dishwasher, and paid some guy $110 to do it. That
included hauling the old one away, which we're sad to see leave. It served
us well for 11 years, which in the hard water state of Utah, is about a
record (for us it is, at least--no other brand lasted more than 3 years,
btw). We love the quiet. Absolutely love the AUTO setting that's new (to
us).
But, the main reason I'm leaving this comment is to congratulate you on how
excellently this video was made. Oh, there was some mismatch between the
voice and actions when pointing at the hoses and power line in one part,
but the information given, the brevity used, and the quality of the
information, was above top notch. No fluff. No muff. No bothersomeness.
Thank You Sir!
And Go Bosch!
Hello. If replacing an older unit, you should check for GFI function while
everything is open. The floor space under the removed unit should be
carefully inspected for water damage. We have a Bosch with the led lit,
inclined controls. The inset (flush) handle & the quiet operation is worth
the extra cost. It has worked flawlessly for 8 months so far, while a
previous unit began failing after 6 months. Great video as usual. Thanx.
That was an easy one, if only they were always that easy. Old houses always
seem to have much more permanent hookups that take some effort to deal
with. Guess that goes hand-in-hand with older appliances that were
built-to-last.
