When I first stopped eating dairy I was worried about this too. I even tried calcium chews. But after doing some research I realized it was not such a big issue. I recommend you read an article at paleo plan. I'll put a link in the description box of this video. And while you're there search around. This is a great source of information. --Dave

I am seriously considering switching my husband and I to a paleo diet when I'm not pregnant anymore, in about 10 weeks, and I was wondering if being paleo has affected your milk supply at all. I would like to breastfeed, and it doesn't seem like you've been affected since you still nurse your son, but has it caused any problems with that?

I just made this tonight but had Cauliflower Mash rather than Parsnip Mash. It was great and my husband loved it! Thanks for the video! P.S. I just started reading Clan of the Cave Bear because of your recommendation. I'm really enjoying it so far! =)

We like slicing fresh jalapenos and placing in with the vegetables 'cause we live in Texas. It gives some kick to the broth but not too hot since it cooks the japs. Thanks for your great video!

Happy babies are wonderful! He gets into all kinds of (safe) stuff while I'm cooking. As long as he is happy and occupied, I don't mind washing a few extra dishes :)

Whole Foods. Be sure you don't buy diakon radishes by mistake. They look very similar and taste completely different! Good luck hunting for them.

My chicken cooks OK but it has that distinct "cooked in a crock pot" taste. Do you ever have that problem or do i need a new crockpot?

I have no idea what that taste is, have had many pots since the 70's. What does it taste like? Sounds like a seasoning issue.

Parsnip mash is a really good idea! I normally use cauliflower or sweet potatoes, but is good to have other options! Thanks!

FYI you are not suppose to use iron skillet on glass top stoves just so you know but looks good. like it alot.
