hey you... i will tell you that when i had my lap band first put in.. i had
a bad anesthesia experience.. i felt super naseous and horrible
...however.. then i had another surgery (breast implants)..and it was a lot
better... then i had another surgery when they removed the band...then this
one where i got my VSG... i honestly think the first time you go under is
the worse because your body has never recieved that before.. i wouldn't be
that scared for your lap band.. im sure it will be much bet
wow why so many scars? i had my gallbladder removed & it was a single
incision so just one scar, ive got the lapband aswell if i hadnt seen ur
video i would of definately thought that u had ur lapband surgery done by
the look of ur scars.. oh well like u said scars aint gonna matter much
since my loss i sagged heaps especially my arms so i got tummy tuck back
flanks lipo and skin removal and my arms, it was well worth all the pain,
goodluck & im following ur journal all the way from australia:)
When i had lapband, i had a tough time coming out of the anesthesia as
well. I felt like i couldnt breath, i had the oxygen tube in my nose, i
felt like i was going to throw up. but I just tried to stay come, and relax
& it got better. And let me tell you, its all worth it in the end, when you
have your surgery & start losing weight, youll look back & say it was worth
it so dont let this discourage you. I need to have my gallbladder removed
too. Yay for me! Rest up & get better. =)
The nurses just kept drugging me up haha and telling me to calm down. I
was in the recovery room for hours. I had to have oxygen for about 24 hours
because my sats kept dropping. Bless your heart that must have been
terrifying! I can't imagine! Maybe its because it's not the first surgery?
I don't know because mine was worse the 2nd time. When you go back under
though they will already know you had issues before so they should be able
to adjust your meds.
I TOO HAD THAT EXPERIENCE WHEN I HAD GALL BLADDER SURGERY AND HAD TUBES
DOWN MY THROAT. I HAVE HAD A FEW OTHER SURGERIES SINCE, AND THEY ALWAYS
STICK THE TUBES DOWN UR THROAT WHEN U HAVE SURGERY... I HAVENT HAD SUCH A
BAD EXPERIENCE SINCE, BUT I EXPLAIN MY FEAR TO THE ANESTHESIOLOGIST AND
THEY TRY TO PULL THE TUBES OUT BEFORE I WAKE UP, AS A RESULT. ULL BE OKAY
IF U HAVE THE SURGERY AFTER THE GALL BLADDER SURGERY!
That's what you look like after surgery! You're so beautiful! I'm so sorry
that happened to you. I hope you report those terrible nurses. I don't
blame you for being scared about having the surgery. I'm interested to know
what he would say about what happened. You won't be fat for long my friend.
I know that you will be successful. :)
I had my gallbladder taken out 8yrs ago and my scars are very very light. U
can't even really seen them and I was in alot of pain but for some reason
the lap-band surgery is totally different as far as the pain goes.. Girl
before my surgery my arms already sag I hate my arms.. I hope u feel
better(:
If you don't rest you are going to get a spanking. That happened to me when
I had decompression surgery on my brain. They had me laying a crazy way
that block my airway. I am glad that you are doing better. Pray about, this
could be the devil trying to change your mind. It will get better.
@bonnieb118 thank you, you are beautiful yourself :) well I don't blame the
nurses, they were very sweet. I think I had unexpected complications that
made everyone panic. Or maybe they over drugged me, who knows. All I know
is I gotta suck it up and do it one more time next month! yikes!
I had my gallbladder out on sept. 2, lapband on sept 29th. I did fine with
my gallbladder surgery, no problems at all. When I had my lapband though I
had a tougher time. I woke up in excruciating pain and just remember not
feeling like I could breath and screaming!
im getting the same my gallbladder taking out at the same thime of surgery
2. congrat 2 you that ur doing better thet should have taking ur
gallbladder out when u have the surgery thats wt im doing all in one
@nomorejellybelly2010 I have no idea why I have all the incisions but they
are the least of my worries. I just want to loose the weight and I'll worry
about the rest when it comes. Thanks for your support :)
@DiamondDawI well I'm not glad you went through that but I am glad someone
knows where I am coming from. Choking is NOT fun. I'll send you a message
on fb and let you know how the gallbladder removal feels.
@TheLadyofbeauty my surgeon said it can cause infections to do it together
so he chose to do it separately. but good luck on your surgery as well and
thank you for your support :)
Wow that experience sounds like it was scary! I really hope you start
feeling better soon and that when you have the band the anaesthetic doesn't
give you that outcome again!
