heydanno777 Yes I know what you mean about Christians who talk the talk but don't walk the walk. That kind of person disgusts me. If you have beliefs you should follow them. I've known some profoundly dishonest quazi criminals who blabbed about God and honesty all the time, as they were cheating and stealing from friends and strangers alike. One was a mechanic coworker of mine who cheated people badly when fixing their cars. Ugh! Both that type and the "honest criminals" will be dangerous soon.

heydanno777 As things get tough, I'll try to turn my condo complex into a community. Turn yards and decks into gardens, start a neighborhood watch using the 9 FRS radios I bought for that purpose, put a couple armed guards on the gate, improve the natural spring that's on site, ect. My plan is to give my neighbors an alternative to panic even if the society at large is in a panic. Failing that I'll run to my bugout location. I won't fall apart because I have supplies & plans ready to implement.

Your perception of this violent drug cartel war that is going on in Mexico makes as much sense as saying "perhaps Women should stop having children so that it will change the situation with pedophiles." What you are saying is consumption of drugs is an excuse for Mexico to not change, implement and/or enforce whatever laws that are necessary to combat this problem within the country of Mexico. It's time for Mexico to take the bull by the horns and shut down the drug industry in their country.

If authority no longer had the power to enforce laws, what would happen? It depends on the society and the community. The greater the inequality in a society, the more it depends on force to enforce that inequality. (got that from dr. Susan Rosenthal's free audio book, power and powerlessness) So in a more equal society where the citizens feel they have a stake in the game and are valued as a person, nothing would happen. In our society, the most sick society that science can devise? CHAOS!

heydanno777 An interesting point. So the bible asserts that only threats of eternal damnation (where you scream and choke and burn and cry for all eternity) can keep a person civilized. But how does it explain the millions of absolute atheists out there who have a profound value for honesty, a sense of fair play, a belief in giving fair value for the wages they receive, don't steal, follow traffic rules, and are happy and grateful for the life they live? Me and millions more live this way.

"So if there were no law then there would be chaos PERIOD." I second that I don't think it would be criminal heaven however. I think they would kill each other rather quickly leaving behind enough of them to continue the chaos but it's gonna suck for many wannabe criminals just as much as it'll suck for law abiding civilians. True order may not be possible for some time if things actually get out of hand. Pockets of resistance will plaque all attempts no matter the nobility of the effort.

People are Civilized * if & only if parents teach them Morality and Consequences. The problem is some parents "don't have the time" for their kids. (No Excuse) They let the schools, daycares,tv, video games, music, peers, etc raise them. They over vaccinate, give kids prozac at age 5, and let them drink the Fluoride Koolaid. The 11yr old should have been prevented. Use a Gun Lock ($5) AND teach kids gun safety and respect of human life/ Elders. Parenting is the MOST IMPORTANT JOB ever!

Thanks to this sick, putrid and dying economic system that has politicians and judges caressing and catering to these criminals and makes our blood boil. If we did one billionth of their dirty deeds we'd be waterboarding in Gitmo for eternity. This useless economy deserves more Madoffs and Stanford's to make investors;stockbrokers and financial planners more happy so they can continue to live "their American dream"... right? mexico i the wild card...ive been asking folks in the know about whats going on there....ive been watching what is happening there for 6 months or so...if it collapses...we will have a HUGE problem..not to mention get ready for 100+ dollar oil again..maybe 200 dollar oil...it will be the death nail to the u.s. economy... Bank nationalization is very near...Citi and BOA made a point to deny it was a possiblity on friday...so its coming sooner rather than later...

this is funny, why don't stupid usa media warns people from going to Israel, since there are ROCKET ATTACKS ALMOST EVERYDAY! I don't you make a video warning people to go to Africa? since hundreds of people are displaced and getting their arms and legs choped by savage militias. Why don't they put a warning for Pakistan where there has been so many terrorist attacks even against tourists. What about Russia? Russia just had war with Georgia. I could go on and on.

Authority is not a police officer or a judge. The authorities are the consitution/civil liberities, and the law. Rights are authority too. The police and judges have no authority to step outside the boundaries of Law. Judges have no authority to step over the boundaries of Law or the Rules of Court. Politicians and Judges are the soul root cause of not keeping the judges in check. So judges know they can step on the authority due to nobody keeping them in check.

Just a Side note: Biggs field and Fort Bliss are in El Paso Tx ...Just across the river from Juarez. (The Bases are less than 30 minutes away from the actual bridges ) White Sands is just up the road in New Mexico. You can go to Google maps and look at the chain link fences that separate the Countries if you use street view (on Border Hwy or Paisano st) Yep... It's not like the river is over knee deep and they don't wire cutters in Mexico! We are totally safe!

Would be funny to see how the US behave if they have a torn war country at their borders, especially when it comes to refugees. I say that because for example, with the war against Iraq, the US let bordering countries deal with the refugees issue, like Jordan welcoming 700 000 iraqi refugees (Jordan population before that was around 4.5M Of course, the US will never have to soak such a influx of refugees so I would be funny to see how they deal with that.

Went to Mexico (Tijuana) a few months ago for 3 months and the violence was over-rated. I saw hot girls walking in the streets both night and day, old women, middle aged women, kids, men, lone people, groups of people, etc. The violence is only toward rivals. For the most part, innocent people don't get hurt. There is no time or room for small timers so you don't have to worry about that like you do in Detroit.

there was a bbc story on a Jaurez Mexico boarder riot last week posted on youtube..it was pulled after only a few hundred views...i searched around the web and found it again..interestingly there was some footage of U.S. military men side by side with mexican police and regular military ..hummers, M1A1s and riot gear...so dont be supprised when you hear about americans servicemen killed in mexico...

I don't know why you bring the soviets up. They are central we are mixed. These are two different economic ideologies regardless of what you get on TV. Financials are long overdue for a significant downsize and you get buyouts and mergers, government helping out and such. Many financial products are no longer viable in today's economy. Soviet socialist state is a fairly bad example.

Why are they covering up the fact that vaccinations are creating AUTISM in our children? Why? Research the real facts! Does it matter if they discover a vaccine to "attempt to stop" flu viruses? They may stop a cold but they may make you sick and could kill you. A small amount of vitamin C and some vitamin D can do the job better, naturally. There's undeniable proof of this.

Honestly, I wrestled when I was in high school and I really enjoyed it but then I took it to the street as a hobby as I got older because I couldn't quite give it up. I was a streetfighter and barfighter for fun. The Only reason why I stopped was that I knew that it would land me in jail. I don't have a record, but the fear of having one reformed me.
