They all looked way better before u put makeup on... It just made them look messy & just Idk clustered and made them look more droopy.. Also u never curl lashes once you've applied mascara, it's bad for them but it also just clumps the lashes together

hi mallory!! i've been looking for brushes for awhile now...my jane iredale brushes are so old i can't remember how long i've had them.....there are so many brands it's too confusing for me. i was looking into wayne goss and hakuhodo (spelling?). for the most part, the prices are very comparable to other brands unless you're buying the hand-painted limited edition ones. somewhere along the lines, i heard only get japanese made brushes. i really think for me i only need 5 or less brushes. i do want the suquu blush brush but i will not pay for expensive overseas shipping. i'm hoping 1 day it will be offered here. with nordstrom's sale, this should be the best opportunity to shop for brushes. one of the beauty stylist swears by the smashbox brushes, she says they're the best and, they have a special anniversary set as well as others i'm sure you know. i also was thinking of buying 1 tom ford brush at a time. your video was very helpful (well, all of yours are). there's a nice mac artist at nordstrom and i'll probably make an appointment and then pick up a few especially the ones you recommended. at least they are easy to find. i never heard of coastal scents so i will have to look for them. xo wendy. p.s. did you get your car? there was a big honda recall not too long ago.

I'm still finding my way with brushes, especially foundation, but I have a few faves in my stash. Old faves for face: Sigma F25 and F35, CHANEL (!) #2 (powder/contour), Stila #2 concealer brush, Bare Minerals concealer brush. Old faves for eyes: Sonia Kashuk bamboo (LE) all over shader, Sonia Kashuk domed shader, Sonia Kashuk blending brush, Laura Mercier finishing eye and angled eye liner, MAC 217 and 219, Stila #15 double-ended crease and liner brush, Essence of Beauty (CVS!) double-ended smoky-wide brush. New faves for face: e.l.f. small stipple brush, Real Techniques small setting brush, Sephora (?) Divergent makeup set double-ended angled contour and crease brush and MAC 239. As you can see, I don't have a fave blush brush and I love blush! The ones I have are just ok.

Thank you for this video Mallory. Have you tried the Tom Ford bronzer brush? I bought it and have tried using it multiple times but don't think I do a very good job with it - surely must be user error........... Think I will try some of the MAC brushes on your recommendation. You look beautiful as always in this video.

I use eye wash from bausch and lombe I might be spelling it terrible, but it really works like a champ. I also use this shampoo by Chris Christensen white on white. Its seriously THE greatest. However its not for the face. So it does not help with the eye stains. Thank you for posting all your vids. I love them. So does my Cricket :)
