+Paulo Santos I don't really know but I think it could just be a gender difference. Although I hate to say people are a certain way because they are a certain gender, but it does seem as though women from most cultures are far more talkative than men, generally speaking. I once read that it had to do with the fact that women view communication as a means to bond, while men mostly view it as a tool for conveying information and would rather bond through experiences.Japanese women are probably more open to dating foreigners because foreign men come across as more "dreamy" (they will put her above work or other things, whereas Japanese men don't tend to do that). Japanese men may be intimidated by foreign women though. But this is just a generalization! I couldn't really answer why but these are just some of my ideas. >__<;

Just looking at the pictures though it looks like a comedy and that's not a stretch for her. Just like Cher she will get a role though that will shock people at how good her acting is. Yes, and I'm happy how she found and has 'it' during her stay in AKB 'cause we got to know a lot about her. Holding her back... that's just me thinking if she were to stay longer in AKB (Of course, I want her to stay forever. Haha), to stay in something certain or an comfortable environment where she's on top there will be no challenges for her except for her tight schedule. I'd like to see her go on a date with Kojipa (I'm sorry I want KojiYuu interaction so bad). Kidding aside, I'd like to see her get roles that is complicated and opposite of her. I want to see and forget that this is Oshima Yuko I'm watching and get into the character, feel the character. That's why I'm so excited to watch her in Yamegoku.

+Xina Icasiano I agree that she is going to get even better. Some of her early awkwardness might have been how they handled her on AKBINGO. I think though she also earned her opportunity. As someone explained to me about the idol business, management may give a push but if you don't work hard and have "IT" then you are quickly replaced and she definitely has "IT". I admit that when she started there were a lot fewer members to vie for attention from the fans but even with more members her popularity only grew. I didn't know that AKB was holding her back. What would you like to see her do? Do you think she could play a good villain since it is against her type?

Yuko wouldn't be a pervert if it wasn't for AKB. XD And when I look at her past videos in AKBingo and such she's so shy and awkward, a little boring (She's my kami-oshi so I pay attention to her a lot). Through her years with AKB she enhanced her skills to the fullest (not the max but kinda lol). She was given lots of opportunity too. There she also built her fanbase. Well, when AKB reach their popularity and they've become so big there are times AKB hinders Yuko's growth and capabilities especially this last 2 years. That's what I think.
