Façade - Getting Laid Ending
My first attempt at creating an actual "Let's Play" was about to be an epic failure, until I decided to be smooth. Yes, in case it really needs to be said, it's fake.
+EviTara Yeah I don't know Mac OS very well but for some reason there were some changes with Snow Leopard and later which caused problems for Facade. :(
+EviTara There is a version for Mac, but many people have had trouble running it on more recent OS versions for Mac. I'd say give it a try at least. See the link in the description for instructions on how to install, and then just go to the Mac download link instead of the Windows one. :)
This is the 2nd video of 5 showing how to use 3 strands of yarn at one time to make a never ending crochet crochet. Using 3 strands in a continuous circle, ...
NEED HELP, i have done a 3 strand and wanted to know, when you want to add
another border to this afghan but in another colour where the afghan finish
does the corner move across one, need to know how to create that corner
cause it doesnt match up with the rest of them thanks
Hi...when your making your last round you bring that one side of the afghan to the end of the row to finish off the spiral, it doesn't continue around the corner... then add your other color and go all the way around the afghan with it...Mikey shows you how to end the spiral at around the 25:32 mark in the video.... Does that make sense? -cathy :)
Transition Granny - 5 Strand Never Ending Granny Series
In this tutorial, I use 5 strands at one time to complete the never ending granny square. This opens a doorway on a lot of colour combinations and looks I can get ...
Thank you Mikey once more for getting my juices flowing. I learned to
crochet via your lessions which after 45 years of trying to teach me, mum
gave up as i was left handed and just couldn't get it in to my brain. So
because of you i can now crochet the most intricate of baby clothes with
pride. The 7 strand never ending is going to be the granny blanket that i
make for my grandchild that is on it's way but i will need to go around and
finish it off with an edging, sorry but it goes for my eyes the finish off
of your beautiful blanket(Scottish, sorry we call them blankets) Thank you
for your never ending enthusiasm for teaching us or showing us new things.
have a good day with Diva Dan x
Thank you so very much!!! My Granmommie crocheted 'til she passed at 100.
I'd start summer projects with her, had her to start me!! I decided to make
me an afghan... nothing fancy... But I never had anyone to show me how to
add a color or to add when you run out of a color!! You have done both!! I
am so excited! And am going to do a 5-color never-ending granny square...
one for each daughter & start on the 3 grandbabies for their future!!! Am
so thankful to have found your site!! God bless!!!
Its amazing what you can when self taught. I sat up one whole night
teaching myself how to do a square. Then I just played. My first afghan was
one piece. I didn't want a square afghan. I started by making a rectangle
and then just kept on going. I made them in the colors of my then teen sons
favorite hockey teams. They didn't want square afghans because they said
they were too floppy. They wanted them longer but wide enough to cover them
They are all in their 50's now.
Just wondering if you've ever used this similar "never ending pattern" for
a solid blanket. Does it look just as fabulous? or does it start to lose
it's square shape. Please advise. I'm looking to start a blanket soon and
want to know the best pattern - granny or solid. Thank you so much for your
amazing tutorials. You have have me so much through out the years. I catch
myself just watching your blooper videos to pass my crochet time -you and
your hunny are HILAROUS!!!
Am just watching your 5 strand never ending vid. Excellent! Love it. I
chose totally different colors than yours, but I am happy. It looks great.
I am wondering: if on the first row/round [when doing the dc into the beg
ring], why not just skip the last 2 ch before sl st to join the center? It
gets rid of the 'poof' that happens when skipping over this ch-2 sp on the
next round. What do you think??? [edit: ch1 works and no poof]. Thanks for
a great teaching vid!
I am SO glad I stumbled across your videos!! I have really been struggling
(even the ...For Dummies books didn't make sense to me, I was so lost). I
appreciate being able to watch to learn and have someone explain as they
create. Thank you so much for sharing you videos, they are the most helpful
that I have found on youtube. Please keep posting and inspiring!
I love crochet and been doing it for over 18years and I can do granny
squares with my eyes shut, this is a fantastic twist to something simple..
everyone will be looking at my work and wondering how I did that. I've been
watching a few of your other videos and I've learnt so much and recommended
your videos to my sister in law who's wanting learn.
Thank you Mike. I've been wanting to crochet one of these for many years,
but didn't know how. You should have seen what I had come up with, you
would have had me committed. Now that I see the project, I have invited you
into my home for to work along with you in making this beautiful granny
blanket. Thank you.
Am I the only one that can't get this to untangle on the 3rd color? I've
unraveled and have redone the 3rd color at least 6 times and I'm always
tangled. What am I doing wrong? I even went as far as doing all 5 colors
and completing the round and it was a mess so I pulled it all apart. Please
help!
My 5-strand NEG is finished! TaDah..live it. Thanks again for fab tute.
Especially live adding new yarn with your slip knit tech. Super! Now I'm
thinking of an edging. Want to try a knitted on lace edging. Have you ever
done this? Guess ill try it and share if it works out.
Love this video. And just a tip... instead of a box I use my grandmothers
old med size cookie tin to hold my yarns while I am crocheting works like a
charm and always brings back warm memories when i look at it. Thanks for
all you do Mikie you are an amazing person. :)
Love you tutorials, so informative and your instructions are easy to
follow. The basic granny square was the first project i made and still my
favorite for yarn. I love the never ending square. Now my head is spinning
with ideas. lol Can't wait to get started on one.
Thank you Michael for showing. My mother tried to show me about 40 years
ago - I never learnt and gave up on crochet and went into dress making. As
you were speaking I could hear my dear Mother's voice again. Thanks -Love
your way of showing !!! Louise
hi ...for this pattern you can use one color or as many colors as you want
.....if you only want to add three colors on just add them and then start
carrying the colors around and around ....Cathy@ The Crochet Crowd:)
I wasn't to sure about this when I was just reading about it but know that
I've seen the video I AM LOVING IT! Such an interesting look. Thank you for
sharing your creation with us!!!

project...when we are on the boat, long car trips...so far so good! Thanks
Mikey..your tutorials are the best!
Wow, I'm so glad to see you are still here doing how too's. Ive been away
from youtube for almost two years ( had and accident) and Im just so
thrilled to still see you here!!!!
yes you can add a border if you like ....I usually add a row or more of sc
and it looks real nice and gives the afghan a clean finish ....cathy@ the
crochet crowd...

working on the color burst granny squares for my afghan blanket!so far I'm
doing good :D
I have made the first never ending granny with tree colours, love it and
now that you are showing us with five colours, wow so excited to go make
one! Thank you.
This is one of the most fastest and easiest ways to create a blanket. Using 3 colours to create a spiraling effect. It is my favourite. My website is ...
this may be a dumb question-------but can this be made in parts/pieces or
does it have to be made all at the same time?
Sorry.....I'm a beginner and have been looking for this and can't find it
anywhere!
THANKS!!!!! :)
+Lydia Ríos Hi there :) A granny square Blanket CAN be made in parts. Not this particular design. But if you were to make several Mini Granny Squares, you can then stitch them together to form a blanket. Just YouTube how to make a granny square :)
