A First time Mom's Guide to Baby Essentials for 0-6 Months
Hi friends. In this vlog I share what essentials helped me get through the first 6 months with baby Vylah. If you all have some other essentials I missed please feel ...
Great video! I definitely also found there's no need to go broke having a
baby. We buy almost everything used and accept all the hand me downs people
offer. We've made a few splurge purchases, but most essentials we got used
or people bought for us off our registry. There are also resources like
Freecycle or Buy Nothing Facebook groups where people give away gently used
items for free in your area. I also love children's consignment shops. Also
definitely agree with you that you have to always expect the unexpected
with babies...Definitely good to be prepared :) Happy MLK Jr. Day to you
too...he's one of my heros!
Amen to that. I grew up going to thrift stores so I know how to find good stuff. Plus we plan to have a big family so I will be shopping a ton at second hand stores. We do splurge on certain items if we have extra money. We plan on traveling a lot as a family so the money I will save on name brands I will use to take mini vacations throughout the year. Being organized really makes life a lot easier for me. With our next child as soon as I find out the gender I will be getting everything that we need ahead of time so in my last few weeks of pregnancy I can have peace of mind.
