Yes, trackball is better. I have been using one since 2007. I started doing that because of a problem with my ulnar nerve. That's the one that gives feeling to the little finger, half the ring finger and part of the palm. It's pretty much what happened to you, but with the nerve on the other side of my arm. I had it partially trapped in the elbow and wrist, plus a issue at the origin in the shoulder. 6 months of trackball, and I was back to normal.

Yeah, I don't care about people being gay etc. I do find it disgusting myself but it's just ones taste and it's laughable when someone says the disgust shouldn't be a thing. I dislike, say canned spinach. When I see someone eating canned spinach/think about eating canned spinach myself I am disgusted. To use a specifically more sexual example, I think feet are disgusting and would be disgusted to watch someone suck someone else's toes. Doesn't mean I think the people who do want to do those things are bad and/or shouldn't be allowed to do so, I'm just not going to join them. Which is fine because they're not forcing me to when they want to be treated equally (and hey, if someone even asks me to - which I have had a couple times in the past - the word "no" exists for a reason). Unfortunately the religious idiots think their gory fairy tales give them the right to say other people shouldn't eat the canned spinach because they don't want to. Now I will also admit I technically think gay marriage shouldn't be a thing, but only in the fact that I consider all marriage useless and think it should be removed entirely. Particularly any powers associated with it in the law/governments of the world due to religion.

Just going to play devils advocate for a second here, having seen downfall, I think that it was a fairly accurate way to argue his point, but explained in a really poor/insensitive manner. What Pyne was (probably) trying to say was that Julia Gillard is cracking under stress, losing her mind, and will be out of office quite soon. The scene in Downfall just happened to be a good display of that. Perhaps a better analogy would have been the insanity of Macbeth, but hindsight is 20/20.
