Where do you think you pay for all your "FREE" goodies from? You pay for all your "FREE" things by compensating in other areas of the economy, for example, in order to have "FREE" education and "FREE" healthcare, you pay for that by compensating in other areas of the economy by having: > lower paid wages > higher inflation > higher costs of living > higher interest rates > higher unemployment > fewer university placements and the list goes on. That's why when you look at private property it's in wonderful condition, yet if you look at government owned property, it's in a mess. This is because the government doesn't hold the same incentive. Imagine the government trying to operate the entire economy and manage your land at the same time, along the lines some where you're going to face a lot of neglected property. That's why when you look at council housing areas, they look like a bomb just hit it, yet if you walk down the road to a private property, you'll find it is in perfect condition, why? Well it's not because the private property owner has more money, it's because the private property owner has the incentive to replant trees, why do you think that is? Because the higher the value to his property years down the line, the more he personally profits from that. And if we look at history my dear, we will see it is actually the government, thanks to party's like the Green Party that actually lead to a massive waste of capital.
